If I don’t work that day, my day revolves around my dog. Going for a walk, playing in the backyard, doing mini training sessions, providing my dog with mental exercises inside the house, brushing my cat and my dog, etc. I also occasionally make homemade meals for my dog, such as chicken soup or dog-friendly roast. When I work, I still strive to provide structure and consistent meals and potty breaks. I focus on providing them with mental stimuli, such as treat dispensing toys, chew sticks, etc. Every couple hours there will be supervised visits to the fenced backyard for them to play and get some fresh air, duration depending on the weather. Throughout the day, regardless whether I work or not, they will be given plenty of love, scratches and kisses!
