Your Pup’s Adventure Buddy
Hi! I'm Tess, an active, animal-loving sitter who works from home during the week, available summer through early fall. I've cared for dogs my whole life (mostly large breeds), fostered both dogs and cats locally and abroad, and even helped housebreak puppies. I live in a townhouse, and my home office sits right behind the garage with direct access to a backyard, so between walks and runs, dogs hang out with me while I work, with constant access to the yard. Whether your pup needs a relaxed walk around the golf course, a run to burn off energy, or a big adventure up the Chief, I'll match their pace. If your dog likes to socialize, I'll make sure to bring them along on walks or runs with friends and their friendly pets. During down time, I'm all about cuddles, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe and happy.

Tessy was lovely, calm and very welcoming to our senior dog. She was mindful of the right amount of exercise, temperature and pain-reducing practices such as too many stairs. Molly came home happy and sleepy from her active, happy time at Tessy’s home. Do not hesitate to book Tessy if you have the chance. I felt very safe leaving Molly with her.
Tessy was absolutely amazing with our two boys! She accommodated our schedule and sent us so many photos of the dogs. If we are ever in Squamish with the dogs again, I will definitely be contacting Tessy! THANK YOU!!
Tess did an amazing job watching our very energetic Siberian Husky, Asha. She was flexible with drop-off/pick-up times, communicated well, and took Asha for a long hike and walks. I would highly recommend her.
Our dog Gus loved this stay with Tessy. He was socialized with other dogs, had plenty of activity and she was so flexible with his drop off and pick up times changing. I actually think this was Gus' favorite dog sitter to date.
Tessy was great with my 7 month old puppy. He came home calm and well exercised. She was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Thank you Tessy!

Schedule
I work from home part-time in the summer and early fall, so I can easily fit in morning, midday, and evening walks or visits. My schedule is flexible, which means I can adjust to your pet’s routine, whether that’s early hikes or lunchtime potty breaks.

Pets are always supervised, doors and gates are secure, and outdoor time is safe and leashed. I make sure they have a cozy space to rest, fresh water, and plenty of attention.
A typical day
A typical day might start with a morning walk or run, followed by playtime or cuddles at home. Depending on your dog’s energy, we might stroll around the golf course, explore local trails, or head out for a hike. In between adventures, there’s plenty of rest, fresh water, and attention to keep them happy and relaxed.
