I am work a hybrid job. On days that I go into work, I would walk the dog before I leave and wouldn’t leave them alone longer than 4-5hrs.

My apartment is in a safe building. There is a small outdoor area that others in the apartment sometimes use for their dogs, however, I usually go for a hike or walk with the dogs and don't take them out there.

It is important for me to know how you think the pandemic has affected your dog and what your daily routine is like with them. I recommend homestays since I've noticed dogs often feel most comfortable and less anxious at home especially after the pandemic but am open to boarding.
A typical day
I often take dogs on hikes in the redwoods, Sibley or the fire trails in Berkeley. I also like to go on runs with those that are up for it around my neighborhood. If not a hike or a run I take the dogs on multiple walks a day.

My name is Tessa. I am 31 years old and am a doctoral student. I have grown up all my life with dogs and miss having them around. I love all animals and would be so excited to host or house sit any and all of your furry friends! I live alone. I would love to give your animal a fun va- or staycation! I love to go on long walks and hikes with the pups I take care of--sometimes runs, and to shower your dog/cat with the love and attention that they deserve. I would love to help support you in anyway I can. I am comfortable around all kinds of dogs or cats--big, small and anything in between. I love them all! I do recommend home stays since I've noticed dogs often feel most comfortable and less anxious at home especially after the pandemic but am open to boarding. Currently work from home and have my own golden doodle!

Tessa is our favorite! She takes great care of our pup and seems to genuinely enjoy hanging out with her :) Winnie loves staying with Tessa because they go on fun adventures. She is always super happy and tired when we pick her up which is awesome :)
Tessa was amazing! Artie loved spending the weekend with her. We even had trouble convincing him to get in the car to go home. She sent us plenty of pictures of their time together. We will definitely be leaving Artie with her again!
