Hi, I’m Tessa - I run T’s One Acre Bark & Breakfast! 🐾 With one acre to play on and a cozy home to relax in, I give every pet safe, loving care. I’m Pet First Aid & CPR certified, have completed a course in Veterinary Assistant training, and am trained/certified in Fear Free™ - Leaders in Animal Wellbeing. While studying Fear Free, I have learned valuable information regarding dog body language, stress signals, and how to create a calm, positive environment for each pet. This means I use gentle handling, reward-based interactions, and stress-reducing techniques to make sure your furry family member feels comfortable and cared for at all times. My goal is to provide not just a safe place, but one where pets truly enjoy their stay, whether they’re here to play, rest, or cuddle up for some quiet time. We love visitors of all walks of life; seniors, puppies, and everything in between. We’ll treat your pet like one of our own and keep you updated every step of the way ❤️ In addition to boarding and daycare, I also offer drop-in visits; perfect for pets who feel most comfortable at home. Whether it’s potty breaks, mealtime, playtime, or a little extra love while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet’s routine stays on track and they get the attention they deserve.

Tessa and Tyler took amazing care of our one-year-old dog, Junie, for 11 days while we were away. From the start, they made us feel completely comfortable, and throughout the stay they sent regular updates, photos, and messages so we always knew how she was doing. It was clear that Junie was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and love. She looked happy, entertained, and completely at ease the entire time. In fact, when we picked her up, she seemed like she wasn’t quite ready to leave! It’s obvious that Tessa and Tyler genuinely care about the dogs they watch and treat them like part of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust them with Junie again in the future. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and communicative sitters!
Highly recommend Tessa to care for your fur babies. She’s she so sweet and cares for them as if they’re her dogs. It was my first time leaving my dog, and Tessa was wonderful. She also sends pictures and updates. Would rebook her in the future!

We had such a great experience! Tessa and Tyler were super friendly and kept us updated every day with photos and videos, which we really appreciated. Our dog clearly had an awesome time running around and having fun on their property. It was so nice knowing our pup was happy and well cared for while we were away. Would definitely book with them again!
If you are looking for a home away from home for your fur baby, look no further! Tessa, Tyler, and the kids will care for and love your fur baby as if they were their own. Leaving your fur baby for a night, a couple nights, or an extended time can be a stressful event but this sweet family will take that stress away. I appreciated the daily check-ins and I could tell from the pics and videos that my girl Poppy was having the best time ever and I know she will be so excited to go back! I could not be happier that I have found such a wonderful place for Poppy when I need to be out of town. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I honestly can't say enough great words about Tessa and Tyler and the children they helped too. I'd say she's actually a dog whisperer. Our dog was so distressed and having the worse episode of abandonment as near as we could see. It was awful leaving on an airplane to go out of town. Tessa worked it all out taking several days to help her adjust and making sure we knew what was happening. How she was adapting. We got pictures and updates daily and often more than once a day. She's really one of the sweetest angels with a spirit that is meant for this job. Thank you from the bottom of Suzie, Jim and my heart. Beautiful place for those pets we love so much.

Schedule
Beyond errands needing to get done or going to town for appointments, I am always home. My husband assists in care when he is home as well. We have a lovely dog of our own - so they are always in our schedule with potty breaks, play, eating times and everything in between!
