*To my clients: I am recovering from knee surgery and am not offering dog walking at this time.* Hi! I was a pet parent for 14 years and lost both of my senior dogs about 3 years ago. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages, as well as a wide range of special needs including medication administration and training with positive reinforcement. I have most recently been caring for pets of friends and personal referrals only, but am able to take on new clients since transitioning to working from home full-time.

Whether caring for your animal in my home or yours, I respect the rules and boundaries you have set for your pet in regards to being allowed on furniture, etc. I’m a cuddler, so if they are not allowed on furniture then I will absolutely be spending time on the floor with them :) I have a reliable vehicle and can provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination/booster upon request.

Tessa was an amazing caretaker for our 2 cats while we were gone for 5 days. I’m always nervous to leave my girls that long, but she gave such thorough updates and provided details from her visit that made me feel so good about leaving them in her care. She went above and beyond with making sure the house was taken care of as well (brought in mail, vacuumed litter, took out the trash, cleaned cat puke). 10/10 would recommend.
Wow, I do not know where to start! Tessa is an amazing sitter. Meatball has either IBD or GI lymphoma. He gets 7 meds a day and has a varied menu to keep him comfy. It took me a while to get used to his rigorous schedule, but Tessa took too quickly and really made sure she understood it. She asked really good questions that helped me clarify my instructions for the future. Beyond that, she took time to gain Meatball's trust, which I really appreciated. She genuinely cares about your pet like her own. I was nervous about leaving Meatball, but I was so relieved after reading the extremely detailed notes and all pictures and videos she sent. Meatball looked better then when we left him! ☺️ I hope Tessa will be around for our next trip.

Tessa was really timely, flexible, and just a really positive personable vibe when we met in person! I loved knowing she's had experience with all ages of cats. Thank you for the sweet photos and for helping soothe my sometimes anxious kitty, she was super relaxed when I got home (:

Schedule
Having been a pet owner for several years, I recognize how important a pets schedule is to them as well as their owners. Early morning walks and meal time are no sweat for me. I prefer to take dogs on 2-3 longer walks per day, as well as additional brief potty breaks in between. It helps them exert energy and prevents indoor potty accidents!
