I am a "dog person". I've had dogs in my home for most of my adult life. I am currently in an apartment with no other dogs or animals. I volunteer at Wags and Walks animal shelter walking dogs. I have also previously volunteered in Colorado at animal shelters fostering and walking dogs, as well as Lifeline Puppy Rescue assisting with care and adoptions. I understand that your pet is your child and you want to leave them in the care of someone who will love them as much as you do. In my home, they will be loved and pampered, fed, walked and well cared for. I go on multiple daily walks and share lots of photos to show you how well your dog is being taken care of while you are away.

Tessa was amazing with our dog! Gave her a wonderful routine of walks, meals, and plenty of chill time and sent great photos daily (and some videos along the way as well)! We knew our pup was in great hands and are so appreciative of the great care Tessa provided!

10/10 would recommend Tessa to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and communicative dog sitter! She did a wonderful job taking care of my dog Scout for a week while I was traveling out of the country. She provided great updates throughout and took him on adventures throughout his stay like brunch and book club. As someone who is typically an anxious dog mom, I felt extremely at ease knowing Tessa was caring for him and was able to really disconnect and enjoy my trip. Will definitely be booking with Tessa again!
Tessa was absolutely amazing! She stepped in last minute to watch our English bulldog Melon while we had to head home to Boston, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. She clearly spent quality time with our pup, who had such a great experience with her. Tessa kept us updated with so many pictures and messages, which made us feel completely at ease and comfortable the entire time we were away. It meant so much to know our dog was in such caring and attentive hands. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter!
Tessa’s amazing and took such wonderful care of my 13 yr old pup while she was sick and needed extra care and attention, and made sure she was getting her needed medication 💕

Schedule
I work from home and am available to watch your dog 24 hours a day. Although I have no yard, I take the dogs for 3-4 walks a day. There are multiple dog parks nearby and if that is something you are comfortable with, I will happily bring your dog there for some social play time.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog is free to roam anywhere in my home. They are allowed on furniture and are welcome to sleep in my bed with me. I welcome you and your sweet dog into my home to check the place out prior to any stay.
A typical day
I work from home from 7am-3:30pm. We are up at 6am for our first walk and potty break. We go out again around 10 for a longer walk and potty break. Once I finish work, we go out for our longest walk of the day, often through the beautiful Water Garden or Virginia Avenue Park. Our final walk of the day is around 10pm before snuggling up for the night.
