My husband and I work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play, go for hikes and walks, cuddle or just lounge around if that is what they like to do. My house is a smoke free environment, no kids and just me and my husband.

We have a fenced in yard. We recently lost our Great Dane, so at the moment no other dogs live in the home. Our home is two floors. There are plenty of couches and dog beds for your pet to lounge on, but bring whatever they need in addition to feel comfortable. On walks, I have a traveling doggie dish and carry water and treats.

Information Tessa S. would like to know about your pet
Is there a feeding routine? Is there a bathroom routine or way your pet lets you know they need to go? How are they with other dogs? How are they on the leash? Are they food aggressive? How are they with storms and/or fireworks or loud noises like landscapers? Can they do stairs? Where and how do they like to sleep - on a dog bed, couch, in a separate room or in a room with people?
A typical day
There is a trail in our neighborhood. I like to take dogs for walks in the neighborhood or on the trail. There is a park as well if they are good off leash. Our yard is fenced, so plenty of space to run, jump and play.

Pet care experience
My Great Dane Zeus changed my world! I have to stop any stranger on the street to ask if I can pet their dog, my friends bring their dogs over all the time and I just rather spend more time with pets than people sometimes. I love working on training with dogs or making sure their training continues while their family is away. If your dog is more low key, I want to make sure their environment is as chill as they need. If they are afraid of storms or fireworks like my Zeus was, I make sure they have a bed in whatever space they find safe and have weighted blankets if need be or I will sleep beside them if that is more comforting for them. We require all dogs to be potty trained/ house broken. We also have a lot of stairs, so please make sure your dog can do stairs or is comfortable with us picking them up and carrying them. ****We require dogs to be on flea and tick prevention

Tessa was amazing… Harper was taken care of as if she was their own dog. Tessa kept me updated on how Harper was doing and sent pictures too. I would definitely rebook and recommend Tessa to anyone. Thank you so much 🥰

It’s hard to find a good sitter and Tessa did an outstanding job. Thank you for taking good care of our babies. I know our puppy is a handful

Tessa and Chet were amazing with Finn and Marge. It’s very apparent that she cared about the experience not only from Finn and Marge’s perspective but also from my perspective. She sent photos to let me know how it was going and communicated any questions she had. She has a huge heart for dogs and it shows. There were many signs throughout our long weekend away that the girls were getting lots of love while we were gone and one of the biggest signs was that they didn’t miss a beat after returning home.

Tessa provided a warm, fun, supportive and loving environment for our doggie while we were away on vacation. We especially loved her daily check ins with texts and pictures as it felt so reassuring knowing our Jules was taken care of. Jules really enjoyed her time with Tessa and we are very happy with our overall experience. Book Tessa, you will be happy you did!
