Hey there! I will do my best to reply quickly to your inquiries and booking requests. I provide pet services to West Kelowna, Westbank, and surrounding areas. You can choose the drop-in times. (As much as I love large dogs, please note that, due to an old knee injury, I am currently not offering services to dogs over 50 lbs unless they are well trained or are "gentle giants".) My job experience ranges from working in health-care to business ownership. In the past 13 years, I have run my own registered mobile dog grooming, pet sitting and dog walking business in Ontario, have worked with exotics, domestics, horses and other farm animals, as well as volunteered for dog walking and occasional training with Friends of Campbell County Animal Control throughout the year of 2015. Aside from this, I have been training my pets through the Karen Pryor clicker training and positive reinforcement methods for the past 14 years. I have personally owned dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, and fish, and have worked at Petsmart as a pet care associate and dog bather. Needless to say, I have plenty of experience working with all sorts of pets and dog breeds in all shapes and sizes. From the moment I arrive to the moment I leave, all my drop-in visits/walks are timed so you never have to worry about your pet not getting the full exercise and attention they require. I also only walk one dog/ household at a time for the full safety of your pet, and do on-leash walks only (unless it is requested we go to an off-leash fully-fenced area). Drop-in visits are fully-timed, as stated. These may include potty breaks outside, playtime in a fenced yard, a short walk, feeding and watering. Let me know what your pet needs and I'll accommodate. Discount Pricing for 30+ days at a time: Boarding- $35/day Daycare- $32/day Please note if you are booking daycare or boarding: We have a 14 year old dog living on the premises. However, our senior dog chooses to happily spend almost all of her time sleeping upstairs in my husband's home office- so the dogs will be separated most (if not 100%) of the time. This makes it much easier for everyone involved, since I can give your pet the undivided attention they require so they can feel comfortable and happy in a new place, while our resident dog gets to sleep as much as she needs without being disturbed!

Our dog Jackie enjoyed staying with Tessa for a few days while we were out of town. It was her first stay but she seemed to settle in and be comfortable! Tessa was great at communicating and sent updates and photos daily. She was accommodating with special requests for our dog and seeemed very patient with Jackie as she found her place.....as she had a little accident on the floor prior to figuring out where the potty spot really was!
Tessa was fantastic and I would definitely recommend her pet sitting services. She’s very sweet, clearly loves animals and did an amazing job taking care of my dog and cat while staying In my home for three nights/four days. My house was left really tidy but more importantly my pets were very well cared for with updates provided to me daily. I will definitely be a repeat customer and wanted to share a rave review, Tessa deserves it!
Tessa was excellent with our dog, an 80lb lab. She asked a lot of questions to ensure she understood the care he needed (2 walks), and was great with communicating with us. Our dog was well-looked after and look forward to the next opportunity we have to book her services!
Tessa was a pleasure to deal with, the dogs took to her right away. She sent us updates after her visits to keep us informed. We would recommend Tessa and will be scheduling more services as the need arises.
I would highly recommend Tessa P. for housesitting/petsitting. We had Tessa stay with our dog and cat while we went on a family vacation. She was wonderful with them. Before we left Tessa came and was so thorough in her questions about our needs while we were away. Our dog is on medication and has an anxious temperment. We had a lot of instruction for his needs. Tessa was very responsible with everything he required. Our cat was equally well taken care of. We even got the fun bonus of seeing their pictures on social media- the kids loved that (me too!). In addition she was wonderful with taking care to water my garden, house plants, flower beds and shrubs while we were away. We returned to a clean home, garbage/recycling taken out. We will absolutely book Tessa again as our go-to petsitter/housesitter again.
We have booked Tessa twice now and absolutely would recommend her to anyone. The cats were much more relaxed when we got home.

I now work from home, and get to make my own schedule, so you'll pretty much have your pick of the best times and days for you :) I like to take most of my bookings M-F from 8am-4pm but am, of course, open to other times as well.
