Hey there! I have lived my entire 30 years with dogs. From growing up with two golden retrievers to getting my own dog louie at 17- and seeing him through his senior years all the way up until his passing this past February. We still have his sweet loving sister Nala who is 5, a tender gentle girl who lives for fetch! She may be timid at first meet but is just a submissive gentle girl who eventually opens up for fun loving play if the other dog will have her :) I have dog and cat sat for family and friends since I can remember. I absolutely love animals and take care of them with immense responsibility and care as I know from my own experience they are often some of the most important beings in our life. My husband Louie (my dog Louie came first they just happened to have the same name! lol) is also an animal lover and instantly adopted my babies upon meeting and has always treated them with tender and diligent care. We are responsible loving and caring pet parents who take the responsibility of looking after your loved one very seriously! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Tessa took care of my dog Emma for a week, and I can truly say that she couldn’t have had a better caretaker while I was gone! It’s obvious how much she loves dogs, snd from the second she walked in the door Emma immediately gravitated towards her. She has a way of making her feel super at ease which I loved. Tessa took care of her perfectly, and I could trust her to feed her the right food (Emma’s a picky eater), walk her consistently, and make sure she didn’t get into any trouble :) Definitely will be having her come take care of Emma again for any other vacations I go on!
I have known Tessa for over ten years and for the duration of our friendship she has always been a loving dog owner. Tessa has been a caring owner to Golden Retrievers and smaller dogs alike. She is loving and accepting of everyone and this translates over to how she is with animals. I know she will treat each and every dog she encounters with the utmost care and kindness.
Tessa has always loved and cared for dogs since I met her over 15 years ago. Pets always love her and she has never been without a dog by her side. She’s always the first choice to look after my dog Chloe whenever I go out of town. She’s a great dog mama!

I work remotely and have a flexible schedule that I create with plenty of time to work around the needs of the animals I am caring for.

We currently live in a home with an enclosed deck space, however whenever we aren't home we keep the windows and doors completely shut and locked.
Pets
A typical day
I love to start my morning with a long walk and am constantly playing/ petting and showering with love through the day. A good game of fetch or tug-of-war is also a must!
