Hi I’m Tessa!
I have been around animals my whole life and don’t remember a time where we didnt have dogs. I grew up showing dogs, rabbits, horses, and poultry and now I still show my mixed breed dog that I trained myself. I have house sat and animal sat ever since I was 15 and have regular clients that hire me for every trip they go on. I absolutely love animals and treat every one like my own. I also have a good amount of veterinary experience from an internship I completed.

Safety, trust & environment
Since I am only doing walking this isn’t as big of a concern but regarding safety on walks, I believe the way to keep a dog and handler safe is by being aware of surroundings and reading dog behavior. Also making sure that you are being prepared and proactive are ways I like to keep situations under threshold before they get to that point.
Ratings and reviews
Tessa is a very responsible young woman. During the eight years I've known Tessa I watched her care for and show her 4-H Horse, Dog, Rabbit, and chickens. She has also cared for my dogs, cat, horses and house when I'm out of town. She is one of the few people I trust my animals and home to. She is very knowledgeable about animals and has a good rapport with animals and people. I highly recommend Tessa.

Schedule
I am currently a full time student working towards a bachelors degree so pet care would be apart of my afternoons/evenings and weekends. Some days are more busy for me than others because of other commitments.

- For me what is important is just anything you would like me to know! Specifically if they have issues on leash or problems with other dogs, humans, bikes, or cars! None of those bother me I just like to be prepared so everyone has a good experience!
