I’m typically available for walks, drop-ins, or check-ins in the evenings and on most weekends. I also enjoy staying active, whether it’s going on hikes or getting outside, so I love incorporating dogs into that time for walks, fresh air, and exercise. Overall, my schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care while making sure pets get plenty of attention and activity.

I’ve been a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of all personalities and needs. I’ve had cats since I was 7 years old and grew up helping care for my neighbors’ cats, so I’m very comfortable with feline behavior, routines, and building trust with even the more independent or shy kitties. In college, I volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience working with animals from a variety of backgrounds, and I adopted one of my own cats from there. I also grew up with dogs, including a Doberman and an English Bulldog, and today I have two Dobermans of my own. This has given me a strong understanding of both high-energy breeds and those that need a little extra patience and care. I’m also familiar with managing special needs, including caring for cats with megacolon, or who need special dietary needs. I’m attentive to health considerations and comfortable following specific care routines when needed. Whether your pet loves playtime, structure, or just a calm, reassuring presence, I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Tessa has been such a wonderful pet sitter for my fur babies. I can trust her to give my 2 skittish cats the patience and attention they need. As for my older border collie she takes time to get all his energy out on long walks and stimulating playtime. Couldn’t recommend her more, very trustworthy and the animas loved her.
