Grounded Care for Spirited Pets

For 16 years, my dog Pyzer was my sidekick, adventure buddy, and constant companion. We spent countless hours exploring trails, wandering the woods, and getting outside whenever we could. As he got older, our adventures changed, and caring for him through his senior years sparked my interest in canine wellness and bodywork. That journey helped shape both my lifestyle and my career. Over the years, I've built a reputation throughout North Bend and Snoqualmie for providing reliable care, adventure hikes, and thoughtful support for dogs of all ages—from energetic young dogs to seniors needing a little extra patience and attention. I'm currently expanding my education through canine massage and acupressure training to better support aging dogs and their long-term wellness.

Tessa was super helpful with our cat Sophie while we were out of town for a few days. She even went above and beyond to help our chickens, which wasn’t a part of her booking, when a bobcat was spotted. She’s friendly, responsive, and caring.

Schedule

Pet care is my full-time profession, so my schedule is built around the dogs in my care. My days typically include dog walks, drop-in visits, outdoor adventures, and boarding guests. Because I work locally in the Snoqualmie Valley, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

Beginning September 2026, I will be offering home-based boarding in North Bend. My home is located on a one-acre property within walking distance of local trails and river access. I host one household at a time, creating a quieter environment where dogs can settle in and feel comfortable during their stay. Dogs enjoy daily walks, outdoor time, and the opportunity to be part of everyday life while their families are away. Meet-and-greets are required before all first-time boarding stays to ensure we're a good fit.

Pets

A typical day

No two dogs are exactly alike, but most days include a combination of walks, outdoor time, rest, play, and plenty of attention. Depending on your dog's age, energy level, and preferences, we may spend time exploring local trails, enjoying the property, relaxing at home, or tagging along on dog-friendly outings around town. My goal is to maintain a comfortable routine while making sure your dog gets the exercise, engagement, and downtime they need.

The more I know about your dog, the better. Please let me know about any medications, medical conditions, allergies, fears, reactivity, separation anxiety, escape tendencies, resource guarding, or other behaviors that may affect their stay. I also appreciate knowing your dog's daily routine, exercise needs, favorite activities, sleeping arrangements, and how they interact with people and other dogs. Honesty is always appreciated. My goal is to create a safe and successful experience for everyone, and that starts with making sure we're a good fit.
