Availability
I work full time, usually 7-5, but set my own schedule and have lots of flexibility. While house sitting, I can generally promise at least a walk in the morning, a short walk/potty break around midday, and a long walk in the late afternoon/evening (it depends on the day, so feel free to message me and I'll let you know what I can do!)

I know it can be hard to leave your pet behind. For house sitting, I prefer to meet ahead of time so you can introduce me to your pet, give all the details and tour, and I can answer any questions/concerns you may have. I do my best to be responsive by text and call while you are away, and will keep you updated with photos. I am a very organized person and will leave your home just as I found it. I'm happy to take care of a few other things around the house, within reason (water the plants, bring in mail, etc.), just let me know.
Information Tess K. would like to know about your pet
My top priority is the safety and comfort of your pet. Please let me know if your dog has any chronic pain/illness or requires medication, and if they are reactive or have any specific triggers. Feel free to include if they have a favorite walking route, or a routine they like to stick to.
A typical day
When house sitting I aim for 2 long walks a day and as many potty breaks as needed. I also love a long run, if that's what your dog needs! For walks I will generally stick to neighborhoods, going at a leisurely pace and letting your dog sniff wherever they want, unless you have a different request. For the safety of your pet, I always default to avoiding other dogs while walking.

Reviews

Tess was great. She helped us out with a last minute dog sitting request! Very responsive and took great care of our dog. Would highly recommend

Thanks for taking great care of Tuki!
Dogs love Tess! She has taken care of dogs young and old outside of Rover for years including walking, feeding, grooming, and giving medication as needed. Tess is very reliable and punctual and you can count on her to give your pet lots of love.
Tess did such a good job with my dog! I have a very spirited 2 year old lab who has failed dog school twice. I usually try to walk her twice a day but recently had something come up where I couldn't. Tess took her out and she returned much better behaved than when she left. Not sure what Tess did but they connected. I would highly recommend her as a dog walker or any pet sitter.
