I’ve always believed that children and animals are good judges of character, and both have always gravitated to my warm and calming presence. I love looking after cats & dogs around my full-time job as a social worker. I have an energetic 3 year old cat named Garfield, who I’ve had since he was 10 weeks old, and I frequently look after my neighbours dog (Rosie) who is an energetic 5 year old border-collie cross, who we affectionately call my "Part-time dog." Before you choose me to look after your fur babies, I can come to your home (free of charge) to meet your animals and for you to determine whether I am a good fit. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds, and can be trusted to provide excellent care. I am responsible, reliable, and will try to show the same love that you give to your pets.

Depending upon the breed of animal, I can provide frequent dog walking (short or long walks), visits with your cat or dog, and can provide overnight pet-sitting. I am responsible, caring & diligent, and will provide a high level of care, following your instructions closely for how to best care for your pet.

This was the first time I had ever used this kind of service for our cat. I was nervous about a stranger coming into my home and taking care of him. I struck gold booking with Tess. She was amazing and truly helped make the entire experience a positive one ! The care and compassion Tess showed was comforting for us, and it was the little things she did that meant so much. Tess took that extra step ensuring our cat was happy !
Tess loves animals! When she looks after my cat she is always reliable and spends quality time with him. She also always sends pictures and talks about how the visit went. I would recommend Tess to anyone looking for a walker or pet sitter with confidence
Tess is incredibly caring, patient and conscientious with my pets, which include a cat and dog. I trust her wholeheartedly with my home, and she has access when i am not home. Tess has also helped me with my two kids, dog and cat all at the same time. She has been caring for my critters for many years. I can always count on her during emergencies or long vacations.

I live in the downtown Cambridge area, and am available for dog walking, overnight pet-sitting, and checking in on your fur babies. My work schedule varies, so please reach out if you have some dates in mind.
