I’m available weekdays and weekends. I’m flexible to work with you and your pet’s needs, figuring out how often they need someone with them, etc. I currently work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can be around a lot.

I do not have any breed preferences or breeds I will not take. I currently own a Frenchie, so I am very familiar with the special needs of flat-faced dogs. I also own a Great Dane so I’m comfortable with giant breeds as well. I do ask for as much information about your dog as possible before we confirm the booking. Does your dog experience separation anxiety? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Are there any medial conditions I should be aware of?

I love to take walks and play games with dogs I am watching. However, my Frenchie is personally a couch potato, so I am also comfortable laying around with more lazy pups.

I am located in the Herndon/Reston area with my French Bulldog and Great Dane. I'd love to take your pooch out for a walk in the nearby parks or trails, as many times throughout the day as your dog needs. I will provide extraordinary personal care and attention to your dog, with as many cuddles, treats, and belly rubs as they desire. Inclement weather doesn't affect me much, so even when the weather is less than ideal I am willing to take your dog out as much as necessary. I have 18+ years experience as a pet sitter and dog walker and have also spent time volunteering at a doggie day care and working at an animal shelter. I have worked at multiple veterinary hospitals as well, meaning I have vast experience with all types of animals. I have had multiple dogs myself and love to spend time with pooches of all ages and sizes. With so much experience around dogs and pets, I am comfortable dealing with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I absolutely adore dogs and would love to meet and take care of your special family member.

Tess was great with my very shy kitty. She kept me updated with great photos and messages. I really appreciate her extra effort!
Tess was wonderful with our two senior dogs. They took to her quickly and the icing on the cake is when they trusted her enough to sleep with her! She kept us informed and shared pics of the boys. We will definitely be using her for all our dog sitting needs.
Tess was absolutely wonderful. She took such great care of my Frenchie and two Quaker parrots. She sent updates every day along with photos and her communication was consistent. She is a very loving and kind person and you can see that as soon as you meet her. I would 100% ask Tess to watch my pets again.
This is the second time we used Tess and our dog loves her! We had her stop by multiple times a day for 2 days while we were out of town. Our dog just had double TPLO surgery and needed some extra care as she is recovering and Tess did everything we asked her. We will 100% be using Tess again!
