Welcome to our profile! Around these parts you’ll interact with either me (Tess) or my husband Curt for your pup’s care! Curt and I tag team our Rover care to make sure we can provide quick updates and responses as well as provide double love for your pup. We host your pup at our family home with a large fenced in play area in State College where we live with our young daughter and son. We also have a young pup, Finn, who is spectacular with other dogs. Please let us know if your pup has any allergies, anxieties, behavioral quirks, etc that may help us provide the best possible care. We often do Meet and Greets to introduce ourselves and introduce your dog to our home and dog. We have experience with a wide range of ages, health levels, and training needs. We can administer medication, provide a variety of sleeping accommodations (couch, crate, bed, etc), and do daily walks if our dog isn’t enough to tire out your pup in our yard. Curt works from home full time so he will likely be the person at morning drop-offs whereas afternoon pick-ups and messaging may be either Curt or I!

Tess and Curt are amazing with caring for dogs. They have a large wooded and fenced yard which is perfect for dogs to run around all day and know they will not get out and wander free. They sent updates daily, sometimes multiple times daily. Freyja seemed to be at ease and very comfortable with her temporary surroundings and company. I had no worry about the care of my dog. 100% recommend and will use them again upon their availability and my schedule.
Georgette had another great experience with Tess and Curt. She played hard and fell asleep in the car on the three minute drive home. I appreciated the updates throughout the day.

Schedule
We both work from home and take time at least twice a day to walk our dog, go on a run, or play in the yard.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a 0.5 acre fenced in yard but also an electric fence that spans circles our 1.5 acre lot. Our dog Finn loves sitting on the chairs by the window and watching the birds and squirrels. We are also walking distance from a park and a nature reserve, which allows off leash walking if that is of interest to you. Feel free to ask any questions!

A typical day will include 1-2 walks (on or off leash depending on your pup's needs) and as much outside time as they want in our fenced-in yard!
