I work full time so I can either take time off work if needed or I tend to work remotely from home. I would be happy if dog sitting to work from someone's home. My first priority in looking after your dog is the dog itself so I love to wake up, take a coffee with me out on a dog walk and make sure they are happy for the rest of the day! I can do a lunchtime walk as well also if your dog needs this. Alternatively, I am a keen daily runner and love to do this outside so if your dog likes running/is trained to do so, I would be happy to take them out on a run! If I was looking after your dog on the weekend, I like to explore new places and would love to take your dog to the beach, to the mountains, out exploring new areas to really fulfil their day!

I have previously had dogs with our family and have been trusted to look after them on my own most of my life. I am attentive to understanding the dog and the rules of the house and making sure they are comfortable with me. I have been trusted to look after not only our own family dogs but friends dogs as well as house sitting for my colleagues 4 dogs as well. I work remotely so this tends to be a relaxing environment for a dog to sit with me for the day. But with being active and wanting to spend time with the dog also, I love to walk and take the time to be with them and give them the love and attention they deserve!

I’ve grown up around dogs and animals since I was 9 years old, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. After recently losing our family dog, a Large Munsterlander in 2025, and moving to a new city, I really miss having that companionship. That’s what’s inspired me to join Rover and support other dog owners with their pets. I’m an active person who loves running and being outdoors, so I’m always happy to take dogs on walks, explore new places, and make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I have experience living with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from young and energetic puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace. I also have hands-on experience supporting anxious and reactive dogs, which has helped me become very attentive to body language and behaviour. I’m confident in reading signals, respecting boundaries, and creating a calm, safe environment for every dog. I understand that every dog is different, and I always adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. Whether your dog is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers a quieter routine, I aim to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

Tes looked after our dog Gus recently and I cannot recommend her enough. We met up before the sit and not only was she attentive and eager to make sure she had all of Gus's routines/quirks/fears down, but she was also so lovely and friendly and Gus warmed to her straight away! During the stay she kept us updated with all the adventures they went on which was so nice to see, and she left the house super tidy. Would book again in a heartbeat!
Tesni is vibrant, energetic and huge-hearted, and has lived with and loved dogs for most of her life. She understands dogs needs and care, from the bouncy puppy through to graceful and slower older age. Loving all stages of a dog’s life and adjusting to individual needs. We have often left our dogs solely in Tesni’s care while we’ve taken holidays, and she followed all house rules, feeding schedule, exercise guidance and medication regimes to the letter. Safe to say, on our return we don’t think we were missed at all. Tesni has had experience of dog-sitting in single and multi-dog homes and intuitively reads dog body language adjusting her actions & care to make sure the dog feels comfortable and safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to entrust Tesni with my pets. She gives 100% and more.
