My love for animals started at a very young age and has only grown stronger over the years. Caring for pets has never felt like a job to me—it's something I've always genuinely enjoyed. In high school, I regularly dog sat and cat sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I also spent years helping care for my grandmother's dogs, including a German Shepherd, Pomeranian, Rottweiler, and Poodle. Each had their own unique personality and needs, which taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and individualized care. I also have a special love for horses. My daughter has been riding horses since she was six years old, and spending time at the barn has become something we enjoy together. Whenever I have the opportunity, I volunteer at Lucky Star Range because any chance to be around animals is time well spent. I truly believe pets deserve the same love, patience, and respect that we give our closest family members. If there's one thing that sets me apart, it's my genuine passion for animals. I often joke that I love animals more than people—and there's honestly a lot of truth to it! That passion has inspired me to work toward my long-term goal of becoming a veterinarian. Until then, I'm grateful for every opportunity to care for and love someone else's furry family member as if they were my own.
