I'm a massive fan of pets of all breeds, having had dogs and cats of all sizes throughout my life (including raising one puppy). I know they are apart of the your family and deserve to be treated as such. I would love to walk or watch your pet to keep them healthy and happy while you're away or in need of assistance. Growing up, my family had small- and medium-sized terriers. I have been sitting and walking for over five years on Rover and have helped take care of puppies, kittens, senior critters, and everything in-between. I am now pet-less in Seattle and am looking to help out fellow animal lovers! I have a flexible, remote job so I can give walks most times of the day in the Seattle area. I am available for pet sitting across the Puget Sound. I understand the importance of following your home’s routines for the pets, plants, and other small things that need taking care of. I believe in open communication and keeping you informed of your pet’s well being. I am willing to send daily updates and photos, too! Questions I may have for you: Does your pet have any triggers? How long can they be alone? Are there any non-pet related, household items that should be addressed (like watering of plants, trash pickup day, etc.)?

Second booking with Terry. Archer enjoys staying with him. Terry communicates regularly and always leaves the house tidy. We look forward to future opportunities to have Terry watch after our dog.
Terry is a great communicator, followed all of our dog's care instructions to a tee, and left the house in tidy condition. He went above and beyond taking care of a pest outside that Archer could have gotten into, which was great peace of mind. We plan to have Terry stay again soon. Highly recommended.
Terry is by far the absolute best house/dog sitter we have ever had. He was extremely attentive to our two dogs, the house smelled and looked cleaner than when we left it, and Terry was sending us daily photos (he could be a dog photographer!) to let us know our pups where good to go! First time Ever we did not worry about our pups or home one bit while on vacation. We have had some bad experiences unfortunately and our faith is now renewed thanks to Terry! We will be using him exclusively moving forward if possible! (I think our dogs kiss him…traitors)
Terry is such a great person and very communicative! I would highly reccomend them for your boarding and dog walking needs and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

This was my first experience using Rover. I had foot surgery and needed help walking our dog. I was very pleased with Terry! He is friendly, explained the service very well, was punctual and was great with our dog Sidney. In fact, Sidney is kind of shy with people he doesn't know, when Terry arrived at our house he greeted him like is was one of our close friends. He knows animal people and just this gave me comfort that Terry was the perfect choice!

Schedule
I have a full-time, remote job that is fairly flexible, so am able to walk dogs across Seattle throughout the day and across the city. I am available to housesit across the Puget Sound area and am able to board at my place in Capitol Hill as well.

I am able to watch your dog in your own home and neighborhood to help them stay calm and happy in their space. Their care is usually directed by the owner, but I use my years of experience when I need to troubleshoot. I also work with the Rover hotline if any safety issues arise to make sure your pets stay healthy in my care.
Pets
A typical day
I love walking dogs in neighborhoods and parks. If the owners are comfortable and the dog(s) are trained, tossing a ball in an enclosed area is always fun. I have also taken dogs on hikes with owners permission. Lounging on the couch your furry animals is also a fun time! If there is an activity they enjoy, let me know!
