Exceptional and responsible care
We love animals! We treat all animals under our care like they are our children - safety is top priority. We are always aware of their activities, and we are affectionate, nurturing and playful. Most days one or both of us are home with the dogs and cats, so they get lots of attention! We pay close attention to detail about food, medication and exercise routines. We have years of experience walking, feeding and handling from small, medium and large dogs, and cats, both healthy or undergoing medical treatment. We only take animals from the same family so they are not stressed and we are familiar with the many different kinds of leashes and harnesses for dogs, and know the safety protocols for dealing with other dogs when walking. Our condo is on ground level and has an unfenced lawn in front of our door and quiet residential streets for walks. We NEVER let the dogs off leash. There is a park that is good for walking nearby - for dogs that are comfortable with other dogs. Pets may relax on the couch and chairs and often may sleep in our bed. Our condo is relatively small so we pay lots of attention to their needs and comfort. There are no other dogs in our friendly complex of eight condos. Our neighbors are friendly and enjoy meeting our animal “guests".

Terri and Peter were fantastic, they took great care of our dog Stella while we were away for two weeks. It was clear from the photos and updates that Stella felt right at home with them and was loved as if she were their own pet. Schedule
We like to take the dogs for frequent walks. We go slowly with the old dogs and will jog with the young ones if they need the exercise.

We give them lots of attention and walks. We love combing or brushing them and playing with them with their toys. They can sit and snuggle with us anytime.
A typical day
We live in a quiet neighborhood that is good for walks and with a park in walking distance. We like to run or walk fast to exercise younger or bigger dogs or just sit in the park for some quiet time or for older dogs. We bring along treats provided by the owner as well as a water dish and water bottle on long walks and hot days. At home we play with the dogs with their toys to keep them from getting bored.
