I work full-time from home as a localization project manager, but I set my own working hours (Mon-Fri). This means I can take breaks at any time, especially for walks or playtime, and I am very flexible for pick-ups and drop-offs. I am usually available at weekends as well!

I live in the Topcliffe Rd area, close to multiple green spaces in Thirsk and Sowerby. My two-story semi-detached house is very open and clean, and the dogs would have free rein to relax anywhere. I have a fully fenced back garden with lots of grass to play, though I enjoy taking dogs out for potty and play breaks nearby. I have fish in a sturdy aquarium but I doubt dogs would even realise they are there!

A typical day
I love playing and training dogs - let me know what would work best for your dog and I'll see what I can do! High-energy playtime or couch snuggles are both fine with me. There are plenty of green spaces to walk around my area as well, so I can do whatever would be best!

Pet care experience
I've always cared for dogs, from early childhood up until I lived abroad for a few years. Since returning to the UK, I adopted my adorable standard teckel (wirehaired dachshund) Darwin, who is super friendly and brings me joy every day. He loves other dogs, so I'd love to care for some dogs that need a buddy! I can also do solo walks and dogsitting. I love all breeds (have experience with teckels, shiba inu, labradors, retrievers, and German Shepherds) and any age is fine with me - they're all welcome!
