I've lived with and taken care of animals of all types both in my home and as a house sitter off and on for friends and family for most of my life including all sizes and types of dogs and many different feline friends. I've cared for multiple temperaments including shy, protective, adventurous, friendly, etc. as well as done medication application, bandaging, scheduled feedings, mobility issues, and end of life needs. I've had many pets myself and love to bond with even the shyest of critters.

At home, I measure food and free feed my cat and she has an automatic water fountain that's maintained regularly and her litter box is spot cleaned twice a week and fully scrubbed twice a month. She has many toys that are always available and I always spend some time playing with her every day. She loves cuddles and has them on demand because as soon as she sits on you kitty law is invoked and you can't move till she does. When I have cared for dogs I have done everything from walks in parks, neighborhoods, and dog parks as well as just playing in the house or yard as well as taking take of outdoor dogs, like working dogs. I have done scheduled feeding, free feeding, medications, etc. If I am staying in your home I will do my best to keep life as close to normal for your pet, apart from there being a different human in the house. I would also prefer to meet your pets and see your home before any official start date of a booking for us both to get a feel for each other.
Ratings and reviews
Terra is conscientious and great with animals, especially those with special needs. I have two cats, one of which (Padme) has significant trauma around food (eats everything and anything) and needed to take medication for a separate condition. I have never hesitated to leave the cats in the care of Terra. Often, Padme has issues with other sitters and will eat something she's not supposed to or have issues taking the medication, but with Terra I knew that while I was gone I could be confident that Padme would be safe and that I'd come back to her being calm and happy. Padme feels totally at ease around Terra and I never once got a call that I usually do with other sitters about Padme eating something she's not supposed to or being stressed and having an accident. Terra's energy is excellent, especially with animals who have special needs, and I absolutely recommend them.
Tai has watched my house and my three cats multiple times and he's always on top of things, checking in with me and making me feel very good about my decision to leave my babies and my home is his hands. I always appreciate his help, and I know my home is truly maintained when Tai is watching over things. I would prefer Tai over most people I know when it comes to my babies, because he truly treats them the way he would treat his own pets. I highly recommend Tai for your house-sitting/pet-sitting needs

Schedule
I work as an EA in a charter school in St. Paul, so my schedule is completely open and free during the summer, weekend availabily during the school year (Mid August-First Week of June.) I personally have a cat at home that I care for and I grew up with both indoor and outdoor dogs, as well as house-sitting for friends and family so pet care has always been part of my daily life.
