- Johnnie is a 13 year, 9 mo. old Bichon Frise in Kirkland, WA
Johnnie is my sweet little girl. She loves belly rubs, playing fetch with one of her many favorite toys, licking the ice cream bowl (chocolate of course), and testing mom's patience. She will do almost ANYTHING for a greenie. It takes her a few minutes to get used to strangers, but if you just ignore her for a bit...she settles right in and starts begging for attention. She's pretty quiet, unless she senses some perceived danger beyond the front door (mailmen primarily). She is pretty easy to quiet, though. She was raised in a house with a cocker spaniel and a retriever mix, so she loves other dogs. She is not food aggressive (or really any kind of aggressive unless you try to shave her...0_0 ). All in all...she's my bestie. :)
- Sex: Female
- Age: 13 years, 9 mo. old
- Weight: 35lbs
- Breed: Bichon Frise
- Tracking Chip: No
- Spayed: Yes
- House Trained: Yes
I try to take her out about 3-4 hours. By 5-6 hours...your carpet is fair game. 0_0 In other words, she is house trained if she has access to the outdoors, or can be taken out. She does pee and poop on command. If you walk outside and say "Go tee-tee", she will squat whether she needs to go or not.
- Gets along with children: Yes
I recommend kids approach her gently, with their hand palm up. Johnnie is sweet, but not a dog to be tackled or carried around.
- Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Yep! This is the first house she has ever been in without other dogs. She's never been a huge fan of getting her but sniffed, but if the adult humans just let her be, she'll be playing and running with the other pups in 30 seconds or less.
- Gets along with cats: Yes
Hahaha...she tries to play with cats. No aggression or tendency to chase them whatsoever. She plays with them much like she does other dogs...much to their dismay.
She is 11, but in great condition. She isn't on any meds. She gets around kinda like a puppy would. Very fast and wiggly. :)
