I provide ongoing care for many dogs and cats, including daily walks, feeding routines, and overnight stays in their homes and sometimes in mine, which has led to strong, trusted relationships where I am relied on for consistent and attentive care. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable presence and deep respect for both pets and people’s homes, and I always treat each home as if it were my own, aiming to leave things exactly as I found them or better. I also have experience with a variety of animals beyond dogs and cats, including chickens, geckos, and iguanas, which has made me very comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and care needs, and I genuinely enjoy building trust with animals and helping them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away.

Teri has walked, fed, loved, played and taken care of my Italian water dog for five years. My dog loves visiting Teri and her family and considers them her second family; she runs to greet them whenever she sees them in the neighborhood . In addition to dog walks, Teri has boarded my dog at her home as well as stayed at my house for overnight visits. She makes sure that my dog has enough exercise, good food, sniff time, long walks and love. I can depend on her. She has always been responsive , responsible and willing to help me out. She communicates well about any concerns or problems. I highly recommend her for being a Rover dog sitter.
Teri has dog and house sat for me many times over the years. She is professional, prompt, clean and has a very calming presence with animals. My very reactive and introverted dog Maggie absolutely adores her and loves to have Teri over to take care of her. She has also watched my chickens and knows how to feed, handle and take care of them. If your looking for someone who is trustworthy and truly loves and understands pets- Teri is that gem.
Teri was an excellent Petsitter for us. We recently adopted a puppy but also had previously planned a vacation trip. I was torn on what to do but Teri took very good care of our dogs and cats and we were able to enjoy our trip. I know it was a big job but she was very professional and reliable the entire time. She was very flexible and accommodating with our needs. She was willing to petsit or stay the night. She took down detailed instructions of our routine and preferences. She worked hard to carry out all of our instructions and recommendations. Thanks Teri!!! You’re a trip-saver!!!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule during the week and on weekends. As a freelance graphic designer and homeschool mom, I am able to plan my days around pet care commitments and adjust my schedule when needed. This allows me to be available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays with consistency and reliability.

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is keeping animals safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine as much as possible. I follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully and pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs. In a client’s home, I am very respectful of the space and treat it with care and discretion, always aiming to leave everything exactly as I found it or better. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I make sure they feel calm, secure, and well cared for throughout my time with them. When pets stay in my home, they are welcomed into a calm, low-stress environment and treated like part of the household. I currently have two cats, so visiting pets would need to be comfortable around cats, and I am very mindful of introductions and maintaining a peaceful, structured environment so all animals feel safe and settled.

A typical day includes following each pet’s normal routine, such as feeding, walks, litter box care, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also spend time engaging with pets based on their personality—whether that’s active play with toys, outdoor walks, gentle interaction, or calm company if they prefer to relax. I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to check in frequently and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.
