I have been an animal lover my entire life. My mother always said I should have been born on a farm instead of to city folks. I had dogs, cats, parakeets, turtles and gold fish growing up. As an adult I had dogs, cats and a salt water tank. In 2023 I was in Canada visiting a friend and she told me there is a site I could join to do pet and house sitting exclusively for Canadians. I thought this was a good way to travel and be around adorable animals at the same time. I joined and loved it. I have reviews on that site. I enjoyed pet and house sitting in Canada so much that I joined Rover shortly after my return to the US. When I drop in to take care of your cat I always stay extra time with no additional charge. I just don’t want to change the litter and feed them but make sure they get scratches behind the ears ( if they allow ) and I bring toys for play time. I am usually there about 45 minutes if not longer if the cat wants more play time. I do not sit for bully dogs. Any breed that has the word bull in it. I house and pet sit but not for more than two dogs or three cats per household. If you say dogs don’t need walking and just let them out I also give them lots of play time in the yard with me. I throw balls, play tug of war and engage with them any way they like. All animals welcomed to sleep in my bed if they are use to sleeping with you. My goal is to have them stress free and content while you are away. I send daily picks and an update on each pet unless you prefer that less frequently. As a past homeowner for decades, I will respect your home and can help take care of your garden and water indoor and outdoor plants while I am at the sit.
