Dogs are fed twice a day, in the morning and early evening. Dog food is not left out. Treats are given out often. No human food is shared.

The visiting dogs are treated like family. They usually love the house and yard and companionship of myself, my friends and the other pets. There are two doggy doors for access to the backyard for play and potty. There are pet gates to help provide extra safety at the entry/exit doors.

If the visitor is too small to be outside on their own, they will be confined to my large master bedroom and a friend will come over and let them out to potty when I am working.
A typical day
There are no extra special activities here. I work full-time and they will be left alone part of the time. A neighbor will come over and check on the dogs once or twice a day while I am working.

PLEASE READ read my entire profile before asking for a meeting. Household with 3 dogs and 1 cat, a backyard of parakeets and exotic pigeons. The house is quiet and well maintained. There are two doggy doors for easy access to a secure, concrete block wall backyard. I volunteer with several animal rescue groups and have a passion for taking care of animals. I am offering this service to give peace of mind to others who seek a temporary, loving environment for their family companion. Visiting dogs are treated "like family". I love them all! I prefer FEMALE dogs because most male dogs have a tendency to "mark" in the house. And dogs under 18#. Please note that there is a swimming pool and it is not fenced in. I prefer dogs that are pool savvy. Dogs must be friendly or tolerable with cats. I foster small dogs for a pet rescue and there may be other dogs in the house during your visit.

During Sprout's stay, this time he appeared to be behaving differently than he normally does and Terri did an amazing job keeping me updated on His daily moods and activities as well as following any instructions that I had given her.
Sprout always has a great time at Teri's. Her home has plenty of room for him to run and explore and she has a big toy basket that he loves to empty.
Sprout always has a blast at Teri's house. I have no worries when I leave him with her!
Cooper loves staying with Teri and her dogs! He has stayed with her many times and always has a great experience
