Animals have always been part of my life—whether adopted, rescued, or found wandering into our yard. I have over a decade of hands-on experience with high-stress and anxious dogs, including my own 13-year journey with a reactive pup. I’ve completed training from beginner to advanced levels, including specialized work in aggression and reactivity. I’m confident handling pets with complex behaviors, and I’m experienced with administering medications when needed. Currently, I share my home with three wonderful dogs, and I’ve cared for both cats and dogs since childhood. Every animal I meet is treated with patience, respect, and plenty of love.

I bring that same philosophy to caring for pets in my clients’ homes—honoring the routines, cues, and boundaries that each pet is used to. Whether that means sticking to a certain walk schedule, using specific commands, or respecting crate time, I focus on creating a calm, familiar environment so your pet feels safe and well cared for in my presence.

Excellent pet sitter
Zia took amazing care of my three dogs while I was away! She managed Bubba, my senior dog's, medication routine and gave him the extra patience and attention ne needed. Daisy, my younger pup, has tons of energy, and Zia made sure she got plenty of playtime and walks, I loved getting regular updates and pictures- it gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommened!

Schedule
As a higher education professional who works from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to reliably offer drop-ins and walks during the week. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, playtime, or a mid-day stroll, I can easily fit it into my day. I’m available throughout the weekdays and never work weekends, so I can provide consistent care when you need it most. Your pet’s comfort, routine, and safety are always my top priority.

- I like to learn as much as I can about your pet before our visit to make sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. It’s helpful to know their daily routine, any medical needs or medications, triggers (like loud noises or other dogs), and how they typically behave on walks or around new people. I also like to know your preferences—feeding schedule, crate training, commands you use, and anything else that helps me care for your pet the way you do.
