Safety, trust & environment
I currently do not have a fenced in yard. I will be installing a fence as soon as my HOA approves it. It will have a dog run area and a separate area as well. I currently do not have any pets of my own. I do have room for kennel if pet requires and owner provides. I prefer to meet and greet with owners and pets prior to caring for new pets.
Information Teresa W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets have any special needs or behavior concerns I should be aware of. I prefer to meet and greet with the owner and there pets prior to taking on new pets. I do not charge for the initial meet and greet. This way I can evaluate the personality of the pet and be certain that the pet’s demeanor is acceptable
A typical day
I feel it is important to provide love ?, attention, and exercise to all the pets I visit. It isn’t just stop ? in, put some food in a dish, clean the litter box, and provide fresh water. I would take some time to talk to and pet the animal. If time allows I may even take dogs ? to a nearby dog run if owner approves and shot records are on file for that pet. When my dog Rocky was still alive… I used to take him to Reedy Creak Park to explore the wooded hiking ? trails. Which also provided shade and made the walk much more comfortable and enjoyable for both me and my dog.

Love ALL Animals…Not Just Dogs
Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my home ever since I was a baby. In the 4-H I raised rabbits and cows. I watch and walk my sister’s pug dog when she goes on vacations. I watch 2 medium size dogs for a friend of the family when she goes out of town. I stay at her house to provide comfort and love to them. I administer meds as needed, play with them, let them out, and supply fresh water and food as needed. Of course, I give treats as permitted by the owner. I watch my nieces bearded dragon and gecko. My mother has 3 cats that I care for when she is out of town. One of which needs medication twice a day and is not cooperative in taking her medication. One of my sister’s cats is diabetic and I have administered his insulin twice a day when she is out of town.
