Empty Nester that Loves Animals!
Having a dog all of my life while growing up, I really enjoy their companionship. Taking them out for walks at least twice a day for 30 minutes or more is what they need. I'm familiar with senior dogs as well. As my dog aged, I administered medications as needed so, I'm okay with administering meds. Senior dogs sometimes need a little more care and more frequent pee breaks that I'm used to.

Currently, I have a cat that I rescued. I trapped, neutered and spayed him and his 3 siblings and mother. I domesticated them and found them homes. I keep my cat indoors now to keep him safe. He has plenty of toys, playtime with mom, treats and sunny windows to sit in to watch the neighbors! He is king & knows it! I love sitting and giving undivided attention to my animals and animals in my care.

Teresa is so good! Communication and rolling with the curves definitely highlight her style. Obviously very nervous to let a (stranger) into my house and ensure the safety, health and happiness of family pets is so tough. But.... she did it with flying colors. When i returned, my cats seemed to not really know i was gone. So, i definitely recommend Teresa to others and will be using her again!
Teresa is an absolute angel! I was very nervous leaving my Stella for a week and Teresa made it possible for me to enjoy my trip without worrying if my furbaby was ok. She provided lots of play and love for my Stella with lots of pictures. I would definitely recommend and trust Teresa to anyone who needs a pet sitter

Teresa was my cat sitter in California for at least 5-6 years and I can't tell you how sad I was that she was moving to Oregon! How would I ever find another sitter that was as amazing as she was? I called her the cat whisperer because even my most standoffish cat would instantly go to her. She cleaned the cat box every day she did drop ins, she always made sure to take pictures and give updates, and once when me and my husband were on a 12 day cruise and one of the cats got sick she took him to the vet, gave medicine, and updated us so we wouldn't worry. She went above and beyond what we expected. My cats are always happy and calm when she's around and you can just tell that she loves all animals. If you ever get a chance to have Teresa as your sitter consider yourself very lucky.

Schedule
Being a retiree and empty nester, I have a flexible schedule and lots of time on my hands. This will give me the opportunity to really do what makes my heart sing!

- It's important to know about your pet's special needs: if they require any medications, special foods, if they are seniors, if they tend to bark a lot, what their regular exercise routine is, how often they poo? It's good to know how long you've had your dog and if since a puppy, how they interact with other dogs on walks and how they interact with children. If they have any social issues and what kind of training they have had.
