Lifetime dog lover, feeling the absence!
Dogs have always formed a big part of my life from an early childhood through to recently, consisting of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cavapoo, Coton. De Tulear, Labradors and Weimaraner’s. I’m currently without a furry friend and wish to fill this void in offering out my home and plentiful walks to others. All dogs show their own unique personalities and quirky little ways has always been a joy to be around. Seeing how a dog’s loyalty is shown to you as their ‘human’ is a love that only a dog can give. Receiving their trust is such a wonderful reward and one that I miss since loosing my lovely girl Martha. Whilst being a dog owner, I have experienced the puppy years through to helping them reach their senior years with the extra care and understanding that they all deserve. Living surrounded by fields and woodlands is a wonderful place for dogs to take in the different smells that fill the air whilst out on a walk. I will keep my home to just one family at a time to ensure that your dog/s do not incur any further upset from being separated from their ‘humans’ whilst in my care. Whilst staying in my home your dog/s can treat it as if it were their own.

Buttercup had the most wonderful time with Teresa on her first-ever non-family overnight boarding experience. She was so well looked after and I received fantastic photos of her enjoying herself.
From thew first time meeting with Teresa I knew our dog Fleur would be well looked after. Thankfully this assessment was spot on. Fleur clearly had a lovely time staying with Teresa and her daughter and we would not hesitate in sending her there for another stay
Bess has had a wonderful holiday staying with Teresa again! It was so good to be able to go away ourselves, feeling happy that Bess was being well looked after and actually in a far less stressful environment than if we’d taken her with us to an unfamiliar place. She has had wonderful long walks and Teresa is great at communicating with us and sending over photos of what she’s been doing. Thank you again for looking after our Bess so well, we will definitely be in touch to arrange further dates with you. 😊

Buttercup, my 17-month-old golden retriever, stayed with Teresa for the first time for a full day, and she couldn't have had a better time! She seemed instantly at home and I received wonderful photos of their adventures during the day, including a long walk in their beautiful surroundings, with fantastic communication from Teresa. I don't think Buttercup wanted to come home! Thank you, Teresa!
Dolly had a great time. She was allowed to sleep on the bed and Teresa and her family did their best to make her stay a happy one.

Schedule
I currently work part time Tuesday through to Thursday and therefore have the time to ensure your dog will receive the care and love they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
I will only care for one family’s dog/s at a time. Knowledge of how dogs can feel upset by not being with their own ‘humans’ is something I am used to dealing with having owned Weimaraner’s also known as the ‘Velcro dogs’ that suffer with separation anxiety. Your dog/s will receive my undivided attention and care which hopefully will alleviate their separation from their ‘humans’.
A typical day
I am fortunate to live on the edge of the National Trust surrounded by fields with lots of walks on my doorstep, through open spaces and woods giving your dog lots of new surroundings and smells to take in.
