I have been a pet owner and animal lover for my entire life! I have walked dogs for Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals. I have owned rabbits, birds, dogs and even the occasional iguana! For a summer I volunteered to walk the treasured dog for a family in need through United Compassion of Havertown. Additionally I was presented with two opportunities to find homes for stray cats that had found their way onto my porch! Professionally, my career as a teacher affords me the opportunity to help instill a love of animals in my students. When I worked as a nature study counselor, my position was to teach children about animal care and the responsibilities of owning a pet. It would be a pleasure to take care of your fur baby too, as I believe in my heart that they are treasured members of your family, as my dog is in ours.
