I am currently working remote, so I am available throughout the day to pop over and check on your pets! I’m happy to swing by and take them for a quick walk morning, lunchtime, or even early evening if need be. Weekends are flexible.

I pride myself on being in tune with the animal’s body language and comfort level. I am happy to stay and snuggle for a while if that’s what they seem to be needing, I can take them out and about around the neighborhood to blow off some energy, or I can do quick visits if they are a little more territorial or need some more time warming up. I treat my own cat with lots of love and respect, and I do the same with others’ animals because it is what I would want for my little guy!

Is your dog leash trained? Are they friendly with other dogs, or should I keep them distanced? Does your dog enjoy longer walks or a shorter walk with some extra play time?
A typical day
I always start out by taking a minute to greet your animals! This is a fun way to get them excited to go and allow them some time to familiarize themselves again. I love going to any of our local parks for walks, but I am also happy to keep it in the neighborhood if there are safe routes for us to take. Before leaving, I always check that I have approved treats, doggy bags, and some water just in case :-)

Pet care experience
I have a very natural connection with most animals, and I am easily won over by them! I started caring for 3 senior dogs when I was finishing my undergraduate degree, and helping care for them was so fulfilling. I still keep in contact with their owner! I am comfortable doing feedings, going out on walks, and just hanging out with them if that’s what your pet needs. I am reliable, kind, and patient with all clients and their pets. I can’t wait to meet your furry family!

Teresa is a kind, caring, and very responsible pet owner. She provides a wonderful life for her cat, Mose, and she is fantastic with my dog, Lenny. He is a 75 pound pit bull and he is absolutely in love with her! She is dependable, trustworthy, and overall an ideal person to take care of your furry family members. Your pet will be in great hands with Teresa!
In addition to being a lovely person to be around overall, Teresa has a wonderful way with all animals. She has been incredibly great with my blind cat, and walked/took care of my Yorkie and he loved her dearly! Your pets will be in great hands with her.
