I just really, really love dogs!
I’m your friendly neighbor who has taken in strays overnight (6 and counting!) I’ve grown up with all sorts of dogs- Rottweilers, labs, mutts- you name it, I love them. I got my first job at 15 so I could save up for a dog & rescued an 8 year old Maltese who lived another 8 years with us. I cared for him when he was old and sick, and have also gotten a chance to train teething little puppies. Back in my hometown I used to dog sit a few times a month, but since moving to Chicago I miss my furry friends dearly! Having your dog’s company will be a win-win for both of us. We have a fenced in yard. I also have a weight limit of 40 lbs, but if your dog is bigger and doesn’t jump or pull, I’d love to watch them! (Don’t want any dogs jumping on my mother-in-law lol!)

Our dog Lucky has separation anxiety and needs a lot of attention, and Teresa did an absolutely amazing job. She took great care of Lucky. She shared daily updates and pictures with us, and Lucky looked very happy. We are very satisfied with the boarding experience with Teresa and will definitely rebook in the future.

I would highly recommend Teresa to care for your pet! Teresa watched our sweet 5 month old pup for 5 days and boarded with her. She kept our dog on routine, was extremely caring, communicative with us and great with our dogs temperament! We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Teresa and would absolutely do it again!
Teresa was amazing - Charlie came home so happy and sleepy from his fun day. She sent me pictures and kept me updated with how he was doing. We’ve already booked to use her again! Extremely easy to coordinate with, thanks so much!

Schedule
I work from home full-time M-F and fortunately I have the flexibility to take walks and breaks throughout the day! I don’t have any sort of rigid schedule which leaves me open to get into a routine with your pup.

I will follow their routine as much as possible. If it’s not apparent from my photos, I allow dogs on the furniture (that’s how you get the best snuggles)!
A typical day
I’d love to keep your pup on a routine that fits their needs. We can practice any tricks they know, as well as burn off energy playing & going for nice long walks :)
