I am available to walk, drop-in visit, or pet sit in your home. I prefer to watch pets in the place they are familiar with to help ease and manage their stress level. I will treat your pets as if they are my own, giving them as much or as little attention as they require. I am respectful of their boundaries, and can warm up to the most shy cat or dog in most situations. I typically bring an extra leash and a pouch full of treats to help with introductions and added security on walks. I follow all guideline and instructions, including feeding and/or medication schedule. Oral or food additive medications only.

A typical day
I can bring plenty of toys with me like tennis balls and snuffle mats for physical and mental stimulation. We can take meandering walks or keep up the pace for more of a work out. If they know commands we can practice those together.

My heart is home to all creatures great and small. My home is full of 2 dogs, a Blue Heeler and a Shiba Inu, and 2 long hair cats. I frequently care for my parents' senior cats, 2 18 year old ladies. I have personal experience walking dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Bulldogs and Pugs to Great Danes and Irish Wolfhounds! I've cared for hamsters, guinea pigs, and hedgehogs. I've rescued and helped cats with FIV and FeLV. I have patience for picky eaters and calm for high energy critters. I do my best to match the energy of your pet so we can walk around the neighborhood, play unending fetch, or just be couch potatoes together! I look forward to meeting your cuties!

Teresa often cares for both of my high-maintenance pets and I rest easy knowing that they are in her very capable hands. She is a loving and attentive caregiver who has a natural way with animals, provides frequent detailed updates, and lots of great photos! Not only does she follow care instructions, medication/feeding schedules, and exercise routines as directed, she also managed to win over my super suspicious blue heeler AND cranky deaf cat almost instantly. She has proven to be reliable and highly adaptable to my pets individual and idiosyncratic needs. Highly recommend!!
