Pet care experience
Farm girl at heart
I grew up on a dairy farm and caring for animals has always come naturally for me. We always had farm dogs and cats but then at the age of 12 I became the owner of a little beagle puppy that stole my heart. Brandy was my dog until I moved away from home. Over the years, I had two more dogs and six cats in my life! When my last dog passed, I missed him so much and asked my hairdresser if I could look after her little poodle. I really enjoyed his company and the opportunity to get out for walks with him.

Teresa loves animals and animals love her. No doubt, this is because they recognize that she is responsible, trustworthy and, most of all, loving. Animals sense that she will care for them and love them in the absence of their loving owner by making sure their every need is met.
Teresa has cared for my 2.5 year old miniature Poodle a number of times, both for long & short stretches. He is always so happy to see her and spend time with her. She gives him plenty of exercise, and all the pets & love he could ask for. Teresa cares for my dog like he is her own. There’s nothing more a dog mom could ask for!

Schedule
I am retired, so my daily schedule is very flexible. Whenever I am needed, I can be available, whether it's early morning or late afternoon.

A typical day
A walk should be both mentally and physically stimulating for your dog. That means letting them freely sniff while we're on a walk. Sniffing is hugely beneficial for dogs and essential for their wellbeing. It's stimulating too - experts tell us just 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hour's walk in terms of enrichment for your dog.
