I serve my favorite furry, feathered, finned—and occasionally scaly—friends in St. Helens, Scappoose, and the Portland Metro area. I know pets aren’t “just pets.” They’re important members of the family, and when you can’t be there, you want someone caring for them who understands that. Unfortunately, there aren’t always enough hours in the day to do everything ourselves—and it’s perfectly okay to need a little help. I’m currently offering overnight stays and house sitting, giving your pets the comfort of staying in their own familiar environment while you’re away. Whether you’re heading out of town, taking a vacation, or simply need an extra set of hands, I’d love to help keep your pets comfortable, cared for, and loved. And I’m not limited to dogs! I’m happy to care for cats, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, and other small animals. I can feed them, spend time with them, and help keep their environment clean while you’re away. Snakes? Maybe. 😂 We can talk about the snake. Tell me about your pets and what they need. I look forward to meeting you—and caring for your furbabies while you can’t be there. ❤️

With the owners permission your pet may visit my home with me but we are not usually there. Not all animals like to go places but the ones that do I am more than happy to treat as my own fur baby.

Tennelle did a great job caring for our dogs (again!) They were happy and healthy. She took great care of the house too - it was cleaner when we returned than when we left!
Tennelle took great care of our dogs and our house. She was very responsive and flexible when our plans changed slightly.
Tennelle went above and beyond taking care of Jack. He's a sweet, but very needy large dog. I believe she spoiled him a little, taking him for walks, and spending a lot of quality time with him. Spoiling him a little, and quickly answering all our anxious questions! We will be employing her again this month!
Tennelle has taken care of my giant breed dog and two kitties a handful of times now and they are always excited to spend time with her. She loves on the brood like I would and leaves no doubt that the fur babies are well taken care of. I can’t recommend Tennelle more when choosing your next Rover.
Tennelle was punctual and very friendly and kind. I feel comfortable trusting her with our dogs and horses/donkeys.

I work from home and generally have quite a bit of flexibility. This enables me to provide as much needed time to the needs of the animals and their home.
