Hi! My name is Tenaya! I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary.

Schedule

As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks.

A typical day

I do my best to match activities to Pet and owner preferences! If you have a high energy dog, I can take them for a run, play fetch, or do other activities to help get their energy out. If you have a senior dog, I’m happy to take them for a few short walks and then sit with them on the couch and give them lots of pets. For puppies or dogs in training, I can work with them on reinforcing good behavior.

I always want to hear from pet parents about their pet’s favorite activities and normal routine! It’s also important for me to know about your pet’s behavior (are they leash-aggressive? Friendly with other dogs? etc.) and any pre-existing medical conditions. Additionally, I always need to have an emergency contact and your veterinarian’s information, for the rare case that something happens and I’m not able to reach you.
