Hi there- my name is Tenai. I joined Rover because my family, like so many others, has felt the pain of not being able to take our pets on vacation (or even make time for a walk during a busy workday). We have boarded in the past but it felt sad and depressing to leave our poor mutt, Red, there. That is why I would like to offer our home, dog walking abilities, drop-in services, and love to your pup! We have an accommodating home with a yard and a great neighborhood for walking. I do have a shaggy dog and a kitten that are both 100% friendly but in the case that your animal needs some space, I have enough room at my house to keep them separate. If you would like us to board, we do ask that your dog be child-friendly (within reason). No, your dog will not be terrorized by children but, I do have a three-year-old that loves to be my helper (feeding the dog, walking him, brushing him, etc.). I'm flexible with schedule and can accommodate to help with whatever your dog's needs are.
