Pawty Animal 🐕🐈😎
Howdy, thanks for sniffin' me out! I'm Tellulah, and I can't picture a life that doesn't revolve around animals-dogs, cats, rodents, birds, I dig them all. I've taken a (career) walk around the block. I've worked at a doggy daycare, lived that intense dog-walking life, aka yes, one of those peeps walking with like 12 dogs on a public trail. I've worked at a cat hotel, as front desk, mousekeeper, official churu ambassador, human cat play jungle. I spent some time living on an animal sanctuary, which means, yes, I did share a room with 14 dogs, and I grew to be lulled to sleep every night by frito chip paw smell. I worked very briefly as an adoption counselor for a shelter, unfortunately budget cuts cut that short. And of course, I have lots of years both on and off Rover petsitting, walking, doing drop-ins, using every method possible to get pills down which has always eventualllyyy been successful. I've lived at least 80% of my adult life with new and recurring petsies (pet besties). My animal philosophy: Variety is the name of the game. What I love most isn’t just the fun parts, the kisses, the cuddles, the fetching, the mouse chasing — it’s building relationships with all of my individual clients. I pay careful attention to the tail flicks, the yawns, the whines, the side-eye, the sneaks, the slow blinks, whether towards me or others (or nothing). I respect boundaries and I fall in line with their routine. I have a philosophy that their trust needs to be earned; so I let shy ones warm up at their pace, I match the energy of the working dogs, and I sit gently with those grumpy seniors. Some of my clients LOVE people and were purring in my arms the first day, or felt comfortable enough to sit in my lap and fart within moments of meeting them (yes, this has happened multiple times. Animals are the best comedians.) But I also have clients who are polar opposites, some dogs who are suspicious of people, where it's been a huge accomplishment that they can stand and let me put a leash on them. Or cats who have never let anyone but their pawrent pet them but who eventually decide I'm cool enough to sit in the same room as me. It might be one-sided, but if I stare at a gecko long enough I start thinking we have a spiritual connection. Some of my favorite clients (of different species) could best be described as a jerk. I'm stoked to see what your babies are like.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I follow pretty basic rules: keep food out of reach, lock the doors, make sure harnesses and leashes are secure, and collars are on when we leave the house. I keep a relaxed demeanor, keep aware of our surroundings, and choose the safest routes we can find.
Ratings and reviews
Tellulah was super accommodating and did an awesome job taking care of our cat! Loved the fun updates and photos she shared.

Tellulah did a great job!! We have a very very shy cat who takes a while to warm up to people. Tellulah was very patient and our cat warmed up to her very fast! She also kept us updated with pictures and summaries of her visit. We will definitely use her again!

Tellulah has been a god send in days I can’t get home to let my dog out. She’s very communicative and sweet with our dog and cats. Will definitely book again!

Very reliable and sweet!

Absolute life saver. Work took a turn, and I was unable to get home for lunch to take my dog out. Tellulah accepted my last-minute request, took him out, showed him some love, and totally relieved my anxiety. Will definitely use again!

Tallulah is Shiloh‘s very good friend, and she has helped us both tremendously. Vigilant, intuitive, thoughtful, and super knowledgeable about dogs. We are lucky to have her!

Schedule
I have a decently non-busy set schedule, as in, I only have a few hours of commitments every day. Depending on the weather, I try to fit in an average of two little adventures a day with the pups or one longer one. I will generally try to emulate your schedule; we will discuss in person what we think is the best plan of action. I have a couple hours of walks every morning, college classes two evenings a week, and when I've got free time (which is very frequently) I take a walk, have a meal with a friend, or catch a workout or art class.
