I am devoted caregiver with two years of experience specializing in the compassionate care of senior dogs. Having adopted and cared for a senior dog from the age of 7 until she passed away at 9, I possess a unique understanding of the nuanced needs of aging dogs. In a pet-friendly apartment complex, I offer a secure place with a small fenced-in area for off-leash play and a scenic paved trail for walks. Cannot recommend Tehlyr highly enough! She was great - very communicative and attentive to my pup's needs. She took time to meet us both before my pup's fist visit, and was extremely thoughtful in reviewing preferences, meal/walk times, any play/behavioral preferences, etc. Would absolutely book again :)

Tehlyr took great care of our older, pittie mix, Lily Belle, this past weekend! Our dog’s quirks (she sneezes a lot when she gets excited, she is a little needy at times, and she can get pretty vocal when walking by other dogs on walks) didn’t seem to bother sweet Tehlyr, and she was flexible with our pick-up time, which we were grateful for.
This was the 1st time we left our Poppy with a dogsitter. I wasn't sure how it would all go but Tehlyr was great & really loves your dog as her own. She took Poppy for lots of walks & even let her sleep on her bed! It was so nice to know that Poppy was in good hands while we were gone & to not have to worry. I will definitely be using Tehlyr again!! Thank you for the wonderful stay. I'm sure Poppy will miss her!

Working from home has afforded me the wonderful opportunity to be a dedicated and attentive dog caregiver. On the weekends I run errands and and visit friends sometimes but I am not away for more than four hours at a time and can be home more if your dog requires more frequent potty breaks or outdoor time.

I am very attentive and am able to follow any directions for care for your pet very well. My senior dog had some special needs like needing medication and assistance with stairs so I can easily care for your dog's needs. Dogs in my home are allowed on the couch and can free roam in my apartment when I am home and if they are trained to not chew on non-dog toys, they can remain uncrated when I am away on errands. I usually take them for walks every 4 hours, feed them on a schedule, play with them, and I of course provides cuddles!

We will wake up, I’ll feed and walk them based on your instructions, we’ll have play breaks throughout the day so that your pet won’t get bored (I have food puzzles too), and I’ll take them out on walks as needed. They will of course get lots of cuddles too!
