Golden Mountain Retreat for Pets!
Your pet’s bespoke holiday, whilst you’re on holiday. Dog sitters for large breeds or elderly dogs at a 3 acre mountain property in an incredibly dog friendly environment . We take all dogs but specialize in older or extra large breeds. We work from home but are mainly on sabbatical working the land outdoors. Our clients’ dogs become family and look forward to meeting you!

My dog came back tired and happy. Her dogs were very friendly and happy as well. She was able to give my dog his daily meds, and plenty of walks. My flight ended up being delayed on the way back and she was able to accommodate my dog an extra night as well. Fantastic sitter, thrilled to have met her.
Tegan was fantastic! She was able to accommodate our request at the last minute and took great care of our dog. She sent a few photos and updates that showed us how much fun Copper was having while we were gone. Would highly recommend!

After meeting Tegan, Abel, and her dog family, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog Pico in her care. Tegan and Abel asked great questions and were very flexible to make sure Pico was comfortable. Their home and property were beautiful and appeared to be very doggy-safe. I also liked that Tegan and Abel were at home with the dogs most of the time. I felt like I was leaving Pico at camp with a bunch of his best friends. He wasn't very eager to leave when I went to pick him up. I highly recommend Tegan as a dog sitter and would definitely leave Pico with her again. Five stars!
This was hands down the best dog boarding experience I have ever had! Teagen and Abel are the best care takers and both have hearts of gold! They gave me updates of My dogs stay and with all their acreage she had the time of her life! I whole heartedly recommend their beautiful place to board your dog! I could not have had a better experience with two of the most loving pet friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Thank you again for all your genuine care giving. You went above and beyond any and all expectations!

I’m on a work break working on my land and home fixes with my husband who just moved over from the UK. We are technology founders and a data scientist .

I have 3/4 of an acre fences and 2.5 acres at 9500 ft at the end of a cul de sac with little vehicle traffic

A typical day
We water the lands outdoors, go for a morning walk and afternoon walk to get the post. We are outdoors mainly but pets can come in and out as they please
