Pet care is my routine 😊 I throw in some time for my business in between dog naps, late night and when I don’t have any pups in my care. The dogs are priority - they typically won’t allow anything less 😁

I talk to the dogs in my care often - I like to reassure them that they are in a safe place until their owner returns. I know that dogs truly feel the energy of the human around them and I make sure my energy is very positive. The vibe in my home is chill time, nap time, meals and snacks for the pups. We spend a good amount of time at the dog park across the way from me and walks on Venice Beach Boardwalk. I encourage play time, barking, running and other dog stuff outside of my home. And, so far so good!

I’d like to know your dog’s temperament. I’m very understanding in regards to a dog’s personality and traits and I’m willing to work with them.
A typical day
I typically take my dog Marley on walks that are up to an hour depending on the weather. I also may start the day with a couple of hours at a dog park when I have multiple dogs in my care. That way the dogs are able to really run, socialize, dig & bark as much as they’d like lol

Hi! I’m Tedra (pronounced Tee-Druh). I’m an L.A. native and a true dog lover and owner. I have my own pup, Dog Marley whom I’ve been best friends with for 15 years! I found Marley at a 7-11 in Encino in 2009 when he was about 2 months old. No intention of getting a dog whatsoever lol but I also wasn’t going to leave him… and here we are 15 yrs later 🥳 Update: my beloved Dog Marley passed way on March 15, 2024 after living his best life as my best friend’. I’m heartbroken but beyond grateful to have had Dog Marley for 15 years. My love for animals continues and I’m even more excited to care for your pets! I became a pet caregiver via Rover in 2021 and I’ve taken care of more than 100 pups (and a few cats) in the last 2.5 years. And it’s been AMAZING. One of the best career moves. Dogs are seriously amazing, they have so many quirks and specific personality traits. And, I truly enjoy getting to know every dog that I meet. I’ve had so many repeat clients and clients where I’ve been the only person to care for their pups. In 2.5 years and over 100 different dogs in my care, I’ve never had any “fights” even when I’ve had 2 or more dogs from different homes! All the pups get along when with me - and I believe it’s due to my vibe - I’m so optimistic that it rubs off on the dogs. I’ve never had any dogs get injured in my care, all were reunited with their owners safe and happy! Sometimes, the pups even look sad to see me go! Which warms my heart 😊 I’ve cared for puppies, senior pups, pups who take meds, blind and or/deaf pups, even an 11yr old pup born without eyes. I’ve even once cared for a cat that had asthma and required an inhaler. So, I’m prepared for just about anything and I’m confident in my abilities to care for and bond with all fur babies!

Tedra was great. She responded quickly on a same day short notice sitting request and was flexible on my return time as well. She was very responsive while I was away and sent pictures as requested. Will request as a sitter again in the future.
Tedra canceled on us an hour after she was supposed to show up and left us scrambling.
An absolute gift in a pinch. Tedra was so brilliant with both dogs. She was a constant communicator and they loved her. Thank you again Tedra.
