My experience includes 20+ years of pet ownership, 10+ years of dog walking on a part time basis in the Riverside/Avondale area. We can walk at a fast pace, if requested by your dog. Or we can lazily meander our way around the neighborhood. We can also play games like fetch, tug, hide and seek, etc., and practice basic obedience with rewards like treats or play. I have a long leash we can use as well if requested, which I find is a nice way to allow the dogs to explore more freely in less busy areas like parks or backstreets.

Safety, trust & environment
When walking dogs, I usually attach their leash to my body using a hands free leash mechanism as an extra safety measure and to allow myself to walk more easily at a faster pace, if the dog is up for that. Generally, I will maintain a safe distance from other dogs (and cats) walking around to be sure that no incidences occur. Except to send you updates, I will not use my phone while with your dog. My attention will remain on your dog and the walk. Otherwise, it is important for me that I am patient and gentle with all dogs in my care and that I do not make them feel uneasy or anxious on our walk.

Teddy is wonderful with my pup, Lucy. She always gets so excited to see him and really enjoys their walks and playing fetch. Teddy is super punctual, always on time and prepared with leashes and bags. I know Lucy is in good hands when they go on their adventures.

I left my sweet doggy with Teddy for 4 days and wasn't worried about her for a second! He sent me updates and pictures frequently about her eating and the fun she was having while I was out of town. Teddy and his family welcomed to my dog into their home like she was part of their family. I would recommend him to any one of my friends looking for pet sitters. At the moment I am doing a few different types of gig work, so my schedule is flexible and I may be able to accept bookings with very short notice.
