Brooklyn's Pet Best Friend!
In the past 15 years, I have been able to work with and enjoy the company of a range of furry loved ones. My love for pets began early in my youth! By 14, I was volunteering for the ASPCA, helping at the Petsmart adoption/holiday events, and pet sitting for nearly every family in my neighborhood, all while having the most fun and learning as much as I could on how to provide the best possible care to all canines and feline companion alike. I like to think of myself as Dog's best friend and Cat's tolerable treat giver. I grew up around animals and, upon moving to NY, very quickly became the go-to human in my community for pets in need. From being the volunteer walker when my boss brought his puppy to work, the trusted medication distributor to my friends' senior pets, and the only known being that can outplay even the most rambunctious of furry friends. After about 20 years of happily learning and growing, I am looking to turn this hobby into a business.

Your home is your place of comfort! I am adept at balancing pet care with respect for the home. Like any good wilderness lover, I firmly believe in leaving places better than you found them. Cleaning up any pet mess is not a problem.

Teddy is awesome and saved us when the other (non-Rover) sitter we had booked needed to cancel last minute. Teddy made time for a meet-and-greet in our home within our tight timeframe and had an instantly easy and comfortable rapport with both us humans and our cat. They provided great updates during our trip and got our super-resistant cat to take her daily pill. Teddy will be our go-to going forward and we’ve already booked them for our next trip.
Teddy is the best! I get great updates and when I greet my kitty I can always tell she's been well loved and gets the best attention.

Teddy was awesome. Stepped in last minute to save the day when my initial home sit plans fell through and worked around some existing obligations to make it happen. Draco had some special needs and doesn't always take to new people easily, but Teddy was up to the challenge. I got plentiful, cute (and poetic!) updates throughout, and my grumpy, senior, disabled pup seemed to be calm and comfortable the whole time. I came back to a clean home and happy pup - would happily hire Teddy again.
Teddy is so great with my boys. She really helped me out with getting Moon into his carrier. She's consistent, caring, and sends great updates. My kitties are lucky to have Teddy as their sitter.
Teddy is so special!! They stayed at our place to watch Mina while we were gone for a weekend. Mina is very anxious and we rarely can leave her with strangers, but Teddy went above and beyond with her. We got so many great updates- I feel so grateful we found Teddy and will definitely be reaching back out in the future!

Schedule
I am looking to grow into the pet care community and am currently very open to adjusting my schedule around your needs! Please reach out with any special requests.

- I have experience with all kinds of pets, from sweet disabled to brand new hyper babies. I am also very comfortable with senior dogs. So long as there are adequate instructions, I am happy to work with dogs who have stressors. Every pet deserves to have their needs met, and it's best for me to know what will help them have the best experience.
