Pet care is a consistent and intentional part of my daily routine. I structure my schedule to ensure I have dedicated time for drop-ins, walks, and extended visits without overbooking. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s something I plan around. Because of my background in rescue and fostering, tending to animals multiple times per day is second nature to me. I prioritize punctuality, communication, and maintaining a calm, steady presence in each home.

About Teddi W.

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s established routine closely to reduce stress and maintain consistency. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks or litter care, enrichment play, exercise, and administering medications if needed. I also prioritize safety checks, cleanliness, and respectful care of the home. With my rescue background, I’m experienced in reading body language and adjusting to each pet’s temperament — whether they’re shy, high-energy, senior, reactive, or special needs. My goal is always to provide calm, structured, attentive care so pets feel secure while their owners are away.
Information Teddi W. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, temperament, medical needs, and any behavioral history ahead of time. I like to understand feeding schedules, medication instructions, triggers (if any), leash manners, and how they interact with other animals or people. I also ask about emergency contacts, vet information, and any home-specific instructions so I can provide consistent, safe care. The more I know upfront, the better I can keep your pet comfortable and stress-free while you’re away.
A typical day
Fun looks different for every pet! I tailor activities to their age, energy level, and temperament. That can include structured walks, enrichment games, scent work, basic training reinforcement, fetch, tug, puzzle toys, or calm companionship for seniors. With my rescue background, I’m experienced in providing healthy stimulation without overwhelming pets — especially those who are shy, reactive, or high-energy. My goal is always safe exercise, mental engagement, and making sure they feel secure and happy.

Reviews
Teddi is a wonderful caregiver for all animals. She recently was a volunteer at a local animal rescue farm for all animals, even exotic animals. She was easily able to adapt to all personalities of the animals. While living in "bush" Alaska, she volunteered at the animal shelter, even becoming trained to administer injections to dogs and cats. She is a very nurturing, calm, and intuitive caregiver that I would wholeheartedly recommend with all animals.
