Where Pets Feel at Home

I have over 4 years of professional experience working with animals, including 2½ years at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. This includes hands-on experience with both energetic puppies and senior dogs requiring extra patience, gentle care, and attention to comfort and mobility needs. My experience includes walking, feeding, bathing, nail trimming, teeth brushing, medication administration, and monitoring group play to ensure every pet stays safe and happy. I am also certified in pet first aid and CPR, so you can feel confident your pet is in capable, prepared hands. I have experience administering medications and following detailed care instructions for pets with special needs, including seniors and dogs requiring consistent routines. I’ve grown up around dogs and have a lifelong love for animals. I currently have two cats of my own and am welcoming a Rottweiler puppy into my family this July. I’m also familiar with multi-pet households, as my mom has a 5-year-old terrier mix, and I’ve provided pet sitting for family and friends over the years. I’m currently in college working toward veterinary school, so caring for animals isn’t just a job—it’s my passion and future career. I genuinely enjoy working with pets at every life stage, from playful puppies to senior companions, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Teagan Hill is a hardworking, loyal and honest individual. She has a passion for animals that I have not seen before in someone her age. She is extremely organized and strives to do her best in all aspects of her life. She treats all animals with kindness and respect. If she could I believe she would adopt all animals that need a home.

Teagan has been looking after and walking our Jesse for the past year, and I could not be more happy and comforted by the level of care and responsibility she demonstrates. Not only does she do what she says she will, but she seems to feel a personal sense of responsibility and care toward those in her care. She goes way and above what we contracted, and often gets Jesse treats (after asking me if it’s ok) and just seems to care at ‘the next level’. Highly recommend Teagan for your pet’s care!

Schedule

I work full time and am also a part-time college student, but I am very flexible with scheduling, especially in the evenings. My work schedule is provided one week in advance, which allows me to plan ahead and accommodate bookings as needed. I also typically have 2–3 full days off each week, which I can dedicate to providing full-day care and attention for pets. I am happy to adjust my availability to fit your pet’s routine whenever possible. I also offer overnight stays, ensuring your pets receive consistent care, including morning feedings, walks, and attention so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I offer overnight stays in my home; however, I do require a meet and greet with my dog beforehand to ensure both dogs are comfortable and get along well. I also provide overnight stays in your home so your pet can remain in their familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and maintain their normal routine. This is often the best option for pets who feel most secure in their own space. I have experience with transporting pets safely when needed, as well as crate training and crating routines. I am very attentive to maintaining each pet’s daily schedule, including feeding times, walks, medication administration, and bedtime routines to ensure consistency and comfort while you’re away. You can trust that I will treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect, care, and responsibility at all times.

Pets

A typical day

During care, I focus on keeping your dog happy, active, and comfortable through a balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and relaxation. This includes daily walks tailored to your dog’s energy level, play sessions (such as fetch, tug, or enrichment games), and time for sniffing and exploring safely. I also incorporate basic training reinforcement like practicing commands and leash manners during walks when appropriate. For downtime, your dog will have a calm and secure environment to rest, with plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules and any special care instructions, to help them feel consistent and stress-free while you’re away!

Before booking, please let me know your pet’s temperament, daily routine, feeding schedule, any medical needs or medications, and how they interact with other animals and people. It’s also helpful to share any triggers (such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety, or resource guarding), training cues they respond to, and emergency contact/vet information. The more details you provide, the better I can ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away!
