Dog & Cat Mom: I love all animals!

As a lifelong pet owner, I see and treat all pets as family members! 🐾💞 I will treat your animals with the love, care and respect they deserve. Currently, I am a proud mom of a chatty black cat named Binx 🐈‍⬛ and a very funny (and very opinionated) 2 year old husky named Aries who loves to sing 📣🐺 Both are very social, friendly, kind and well behaved. Both get along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Both are fixed, vaccinated and healthy. I have walk several dogs in my old building complex - most are friends with my dog who is a very happy husky mix. I am the friend / neighbor everyone calls when they need help with their pets! I’m trained in walking dogs on standard leashes, slip leads, harnesses, choke collar (although, not personally preferred), retractable leashes, “no pull” harnesses, muzzles, etc. Previously, I volunteered at an animal shelter for years where I was properly trained on walking different degrees of behaviorally ranked dogs. Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕‍🦺

I’m so glad to recommend this pet care and boarding service to anyone interested! Tea is reliable and so loving with Honey, who is my three year old, female, Mini-Bernedoodle. I’m very pleased with the quality of service and attention to detail. Tea made the overall boarding process comfortable and easy. Honey can’t wait to go back, I highly recommend! 👍🏼

Tea was absolutely amazing with Rocky. She was sensitive to his needs. She provided updates daily, and Rocky couldn’t be happier with her. We are super thankful and grateful we’re able to enjoy our vacation knowing Rocky was in good hands. We will definitely be using her moving forward.

OMG! Tea, Aries & Bynx were such great care takers & hosts. Tea was so detailed about the schedule & agenda of the activies she had in place for the weekend with our dog, Bash. She went above & beyond introducing Bash to alternative sleeping arrangements, multiple walks & training and best of all...he hung out with a cat. I would highly recommend Tea and plan to use her again.

Tea is a natural when it comes to animals. She is knowledgeable and nurturing. The proof is in her own pets. Aries, her husky, is loved by everyone. She puts in a lot of work with him and it shows! She helps me train my own husky and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets.

Tea is the best of the best with tons of experience and dog knowledge. She handles my dogs with so much care and I have not a stress in the world when I know they are with her. Not to mention she is beyond reliable and is always available even when i find myself in a jam. If you're looking for someone to care for your animals, Tea is your girl! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

12 out of 10 recommend Tea as a dog walker/care taker! As an overly protective helicopter dog mom, I am hesitant to trust anyone with my pups. But Tea will always have my trust with my two fur babies (a corgi and dachshund). My boys can be a little reactive on the leash and she knows how to handle them with care and do exactly what is needed. Not to mention she is a fellow dog/cat mom and the way she spoils her fur babies, treating them like her children was the first indicator she would be the perfect fit for my guys! You always will know your pups will be in good, safe, loving hands with Tea. :)

Schedule

My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. However, when I am working in my other profession (legal & tech), I work solely from home. So, I am always local.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in an apartment in a very secure, dog-friendly building with a fenced yard outside. These are cameras everywhere. If I am boarding a dog, no matter the duration, I will make myself available to FaceTime at any time so that parents are reassured and at ease. I am within minutes of an animal hospital should anything arise. I have all the supplies needed to host and house a dog or a cat including, but not limited to: • Crates, if needed or preferred • Leashes and collars • Beds • Food in surplus • Feeding bowls • Toys • Interactive toys & games • Treats • Calming music • Rental Insurance

Pets

A typical day

We will take several pack walks (or individual, if that is preferred), play and socialize. I am very interactive with the animals but do give them time and space to rest peacefully while we are home. Lots of toys and games are available to our furry guests. Plus, there is a resident husky who will be absolutely thrilled to have some pals over!

We should discuss the following before any boarding is booked: • Schedule when at home so that it can be mirrored to the best of my ability for both walks and feeding and any other important daily occurrences • General temperament • What they love most (balls, walks, cuddles, etc) • Ability to get along with both dogs and cats • Training level • Housebroken; if accidents should be anticipated • Destructive behavior • Triggers or dislikes • Proof of vaccination • Food or other allergies • Treat allowance • Medical history • Name and contact for vet
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
