I care for your pets in my home, just as I do my own loved ones -- with much TLC. Feeding time is generally 5am & 5pm, fresh water is available in several places at all times, belly rubs on demand, and the comfort of a calm, warm, safe environment. I do not have a breed preference; however, because of a recent shoulder injury, I will only be caring for smaller dogs going forward (with exception of a few prior clients). Please be sure to fill out your and your pets profile in Rover. If there is no profile information, scam risks are high & I will not respond to those that appear to be like spam generated requests (apologies for any inconvenience - just want to keep us all safe, thanks).

At the Meet & Greet (mandatory for all new clients - prior to your first stay): Please bring proof of current vaccinations with you so that we can start your new client file -- should you choose me as your sitter. I have a brief questionnaire we will go over (getting to know you and your dog & letting you know more about me and what environment your pet will be in during their stay). We will discuss any medications, allergies, separation anxieties, or special needs your pet may have. At the time of Stay: I encourage you to bring your pets bed or blanket and something that smells like you (a t-shirt or pillow case). I also request that you bring their own food (to help them remain as regular as possible). Please bring them in a collar or harness with their License tag attached and a leash. You are welcome to bring treats for them -- I just ask that they be immediate eat treats (not long chew items - like rawhides or bones).

Pet care experience
My home is a calm comfortable place, where your companion will receive loving care. A dog door leads to a double fenced yard, for easy relief anytime your pet desires, or they can nap on any of the several doggy pillows. I have had dogs in my home throughout my life. In my earlier years I worked for a veterinarian’s office (front office/bathing-brushing/exercising dogs). I have also fostered displaced dogs on and off throughout my life. Having a Meet and Greet before a stay (the first time) is mandatory -- so that we know your loved one is comfortable and doesn't feel left with a complete stranger. Strive for all tails fun wagging! 2nd dog from same home for same stay is at discounted rate (see rate info). I am currently working from home -- allowing a flexible schedule, and a full time availability. My home is set up to allow dogs inside or outside (yard), to relieve themselves at their own timing. Check in/out is btwn 7am-5pm only (unless special arrangements have been agreed to by sitter). I have (3) doggy doors to fit the whims of even the most doggy-door shy. Doggy doors lead to double fenced yard (6ft wood fenced play area) for added security. I have compartmentalized areas for those who need a little more quite/relax time, or those who have a bit more run/jump energy. No carpeting (for ease of cleaning the occasional or puppy oops (only washable throw rugs).
Reviews

We’ve always had friends or family watch our girls, so I was naturally nervous to choose someone I didn’t know. However, from our initial meeting with Tea, I could see her kindness in her stories and the way she interacted with our dogs. Our Schnauzer takes a bit to warm up to people, and I could see with Tea’s experience she knew exactly how to be patient and win her trust over time, which meant the world to me. We were away for 10 days, and Tea kept us connected with regular pictures and notes on how they were doing. The biggest compliment I can give is that while the girls were happy to see us, they were so content with Tea that it was by no means a 'prison break' when it was time to leave. They were relaxed, happy, and I know they would be thrilled to return. We’ve found our new sitter.

Tea was awesome - very organized and thorough gathering our info at a meet and greet. Dublin was “right at home” and evidenced by the many pictures we received. Dublin loved his sleep over!

This was my first time boarding Cody and the experience could not have been better. Tea was clear in explaining her needs and expectations and answered all of my questions. She sent pictures of Cody and updates on how he was doing so I was able to relax and know he was in good hands. I definitely recommend Tea to anyone looking for an excellent pet sitter.

Tea was fabulous with our 10 year old cranky chihuahua Jelli. We cannot recommend her highly snout!
