Lost my best friend, need diversion
UT alum who recently moved back to Austin after spending a year in Washington state! I’ve had dogs since I was 9, so as soon as I graduated college and could finally get one of my own, I did. Hurricane Harvey had caused local shelters to overflow, and that’s when I adopted Winston. After 10 amazing years together, I unfortunately had to say goodbye. I’m definitely missing having a dog of my own around, so I’d love the distraction (and extra dog time!) of caring for yours. My boyfriend and I both work from home, and he has a 12-lb long-haired mini dachshund named Hanz. Like most small dogs, Hanz is fully convinced he’s about 75 lbs and runs the house accordingly. I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and personalities my whole life and would love to give your pup plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and love while you’re away!

Taylor is really communicative, sent me a lot of photos, and really made my dog Archie feel at home at her place. I could tell she genuinely loved taking care of Archie and Archie came back at ease. Thanks Taylor!
Taylor is great as usual, took DooDoo for daily walks, and sent updated photos - definitely have peace of mind when boarding with Taylor as she is great with communication and checks with any questions!
Thank you Taylor for another amazing daycare stay for Bella. She comes home relaxed and content, which is so important for a lil ole lady dog. Greatly appreciate your patience with her limitations and considerate management of her daily needs.
We got sooo lucky finding Taylor. Taylor is so attentive and caring, with such gentle and compassionate care for my senior dog's needs. Bella came home happy and content. Will definitely seek Taylor's services again.

Schedule
I work from home, so I am very flexible. I go to the gym daily, but overall I’m a homebody so I won’t be gone for long.

Safety, trust & environment
Since my boyfriend and I both work from home, someone is almost always around to keep your pup company! I’m happy to stick as closely as possible to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, crate time, and any other preferences you have. In our home, we have Hanz, a 12-lb mini dachshund, so I always make sure any introductions are done carefully and everyone is comfortable. I’m also happy to separate dogs when needed, especially during meals or when we’re out of the house.

A typical day
I work from home so my days are very flexible. I tend to go to the gym mid day and a walk after work! I love having a walking buddy!

- Hanz is mini dachshund with a very big personality. He’s a total burrower and escape artist, so we’ve made sure our backyard is secure and “Hanz-proofed” for his adventurous tendencies. For longer stays, we prefer to host small to medium sized dogs. We’ve had larger dogs damage sections of fencing in the past, which gave Hanz an opportunity to make his great escape, so keeping everyone safe and secure is our priority!
