Pet care experience

Big or small I can do them all.

Don’t want to take your dog out for a walk? Does the weather just make you want to sit inside all day instead of go play? Are you too tired after work to play with your mans best friend? No problem! I walk my own dog and others all the time. I’ve taken care of Great Danes to Pugs, Rottweilers to Cavachons. I love dogs, and they seem to always love me. I’m available most of the week, I can move most of my schedule around to fit you in if needed. I’ve taught dogs how to do tricks like roll over and shake as well as how to heel while on a leash for a pull-free walking experience. I’m honest and trustworthy. I can walk puppies to older dogs, and I can do a drop in visit for any dog or any age of dog.

Drop-In Visits • Nov 25, 2025

Unfortunately our first visit wasn’t a great first impression. Taylor clearly cares about animals and their wellbeing, there is no doubting that, but unfortunately there were some issues which made both me and my cats uncomfortable. We discussed flexible times for drop-in visits, which is typically okay, and Taylor showed up around 2 hours after the initial booking time. She then proceeded to spend 2.5 hours inside my home, from 11pm to 1:30am, instead of the scheduled 30 minutes (9-9:30pm). Under normal circumstances, this extra time with pets might be great. But my cats are incredibly skittish, and I told Taylor multiple times they would be scared and hiding while she was there. So instead of them being scared and hiding for 30 minutes or less, they hid for 2.5hours. Additionally, she was rummaging around my personal belongings, which made me feel very uneasy. She pulled a guitar case out from under my bed, which is the safe spot 2 of my cats were hiding in, and then proceeded to open the case and strum the guitar. I imagine this further scared my cats with all the extra noise and commotion. I believe Taylor was acting with good intentions or innocent curiosity, but these issues and others made me feel very uneasy. I think the first time visiting a new client’s home would be a time to be very respectful, follow directions as best as possible, and keep a low profile. Instead, Taylor spent 2.5 hours at my house seemingly doing anything but following the care instructions. She finally left after being ill in my bathroom for 30 minutes, during which I couldn’t contact her and was worried something had gone wrong. She shouldn’t have been at my house long enough for that to happen, but it happened and we are moving on.

Taylor was late for the meet and greet with the dogs, didn’t call to let us know. Worse, she left my house a full day before she was supposed to, leaving my two dogs alone for over 16 hours! I had to scramble to find someone to go check on them and change my airline flight home to an earlier flight that cost me over $1,100!! Absolutely do not book this person.

Dog Walking • May 16, 2025

Taylor was great with the dogs. I have a 95 pound Staffie and she was able to handle him and my other dog at the same time. Took long walks. Unfortunately she was late for every single shift by a significant amount of time. Once she was over 3 hours late. It was very frustrating. She didn’t communicate well as when she was going to be there or why she was late. Said she would be 5 minutes and then didn’t show up until an hour later. Great with dogs just wouldn’t recommend to anyone who wants things done on time.

Schedule

I currently have one class Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 12-2pm every week but no other commitments taking up my time. My schedule tends to be open and flexible since I currently put Rover clients before my other means of work such as photography, and online entrepreneurship.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Taylor can host up to 8 drop-ins per day
Let me know if your pets have any special needs or accommodations I’d be happy to account for and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. Medications and procedures you’d like me to follow plus any routines you’d like to keep on schedule while they’re in my care. If you have a larger dog than 50 pounds I ask that you have treats and the proper leash/ harness/ collar provided for walks. If they have any allergies please let me know before leaving them in my care to avoid any accidents or medical emergencies. I will normally bring treats if none are provide, to make them happy while we’re hanging out together and to help with training.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
